Next cunning plan to be mortgage free.
Opened an hsbc current advance account £50 through top cashback and also £40 if i switch an old account with a direct debit, i have an old account with lloyds so will switch over. I like this account because i can chuck all my old coppers into the automatic sorting machine that credits my account. No more bagging and tagging those pennies for me :-)
Part B Foxy bingo giving £53.50 cashback with 110% cash back offer, they match first bet and free £20 on bingo. Gambled money on roulette had a £38 return, no winnings on bingo. so ended up with 53.50 & 38 = 91.50- 50 stake = 41.50 profit from half an hours work if only i was paid £83 an hour i wouldn'y have a mortgage. anyone else have any other money making schemes? :-)
Total today once cashback paid is £91.50Mortgage Start jun 2007 £88500 Outstanding Balance £51000
Overpayments 2007 Nil 2008 £1040 2009 £7853 2010 £10000 2011 aiming for £18000 (6k so far)
