  • Still bumbling along to becoming mortgage free. Mortgage now down to 59k so paid off over the 10k we were aiming for this year. At this rate we should be home free in about 16-17 months. This month has been an expensive one as apart from the obvious christmas expenditure, we have also had our drive done (£1300 gulp and need to spend another £200 on a washing machine as its packed in). We do have a small silver lining in that the mrs has a new job and will be bringing home an extra £200, the trick being now to convince her to spend this on the mortgage rather than running products. I hope everyone has a good christmas and get nearer to being mortgage free next year.
