LBM No.2? CCJ from Northampton....eek!

Well, I had my LBM last October :j after a few months of lurking and digesting info and experiences. So I called NDL, got all my months of unopened post and sorted it and sent off letters offering a reduced payment and my SOA.

Then I was made redundant, and instead of doing the sensible thing of writing to 'them', explaining my new situation

i went back to doing my ostrich impression - post is again unopened.

Why? I know it's not going to bite or hurt me. I know what it's likely to say. I know it's best to get it sorted now. But the post frightens me. So it's easier to hide it

You will feel the weight lift once you have sorted 'them' out and contacted them

I know it might seem dire now, but you can make a difference just by being here and picking up tips. Do you have a trusted someone that can open and sort the post?

Feel the Fear and do it anyway!!! You've done it before you can do it again.
As Cleosmum says it may be easier if there's someone who could do it with you?? You could even just take it all to CAB and they would go through it with you.

no, call me weird though i have spoken to friends and said i'm in big debt, i don't want anyone going though my mail - it's a peronsonal thing.

and i know i've already done it once, so it shouldn't be hard to do it again!!

You'll be fine.

I myself had two LBM's so it's not unheard of (i'm sure some people have even had more than 2!) And it's not too strange to not want people looking through your payments and stuff, it is personal and I wouldn't like it either!

Bite the bullet hun.It is obviously worrying you and at the end of the day it is only the written word,make a decision then have a good nights sleep.

Once you have all your ducks in a row, then you can start making a decision on how you are spending the next few days..don't let these companies detract from one more minute of your life.

yeah, i know. i've told myself - i'll do it on sunday, then i find other things to do - ok, do it on monday- and it never happens
