Well... I've been afraid to look at my feedback for the last few days :rotfl:
But did today, a new positive from this buyer! (albeit a one word 'thanks', that's ok though)
The last email I sent to her basically said "I'm sorry it doesn't fit but I feel I've listed it correctly, but if there's anything else I can do, please contact me".
I would have gone for Soolin's idea of offering pics for a relist, or maybe a partial refund if she had got back to me.
But all is well now it seems. I feel a bit bad now. Should I.....? Nah.... I've recieved loads of stuff on ebay that doesn't fit!0 -
oops posted in wrong place,
Sorry:j I love bargains:jI love MSE0 -
And with that all taken care of, I've got myself a potential one of these!I sold some size 10 jeans from Jane Norman, a shop known for fairly close fitting items - seller said they were too small but when I looked at everything else she had bought, it was all in size 14 - not my fault she was too fat for a size 10! I was very polite and stated that the item was as listed, with measurements and was clearly labelled by the shop and that even though I had big thighs myself I could fit into them - didn't hear another word back...
Currently got a bidder on a size 10 top, all other items they've bought are a size 14, with the occasional 12-14. I *really* hope they're bidding for a friend :eek:0 -
Personally I wouldn't refund; I was given a negative feedback last year as the dress didn't fit the buyer (I listed measuremens in the listing too); she returned, I refunded, yet she still negged me as apparently I altered the labels in a Monsoon dress to say 16 instead of 14. Oh if only I had the time to do such trivial things:rotfl:
Basically what I'm saying is there is no pleasing some buyers, and you end up with a negative just because they want to give you a negative, even when you've done what you can to help them.0 -

Link please.
Strictly speaking it is the Paypal return policy, rather than eBay.
Return the item at your own cost with tracking to receive a full refund...
All the buyer has to do is raise a SNAD claim - rightfully or wrongfully, and then Paypal do the rest.
Just another reason why any seller T&C's are pretty much for decoration only.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
