and so the saga continues, I'm so fed up with ticketmaster.

I was looking on the FAQs for the tour and they have also added to the ticket limit question that it is now per tour. Nice of them to put all this info. for us when the tickets went on pre sale, ugh.

I could scream!!! It also looks like some tickets have appeared on TM. I wonder if thats the start of the cancelled tickets:confused::mad::rolleyes:

Well they havent heard the end of this and will be making sure they know they messed up and get out booking fees back at least. They wont be getting away with it

Really? I've been checking and not seen any new ones come up but its all driving me crazy.

Can't believe the promoters want everyone to keep their tickets and now ticketmaster have the decision.

When we tried my OH couldn't get his card to work so used mine then i bought on mine later. We were told by ticketmaster we could do a transfer of payment. We live in different cities and the guy said he needed us both on the phone at the same time to do this, my OH drove to me 100 miles we phone up on thurs 1 1/2 hours after we were told we could do it only to be told no.

I'm fuming, thought there was some hope but ticketmaster are beyond belief.

I have had two separate solicitors look at the contracts over the weekend. Their view after reading the Purchase Policy, Terms and Conditions and looking at the screenshots is the same as from my earlier post, i.e., that the restriction was 4 tickets per person per credit card per event. Their interpretion of event is a one-off performance on a single date.

    There are three scenarios:
    1. they let everyone who has satisfied the rule above keep their tickets. This does not help those that have bought more than 4 tickets for the same night using the same credit card
    2. they cancel the excess tickets and refund the booking fee. The terms and conditions would allow AEG / O2 to do this as the Event Partner owns the tickets
    3. they cancel the excess tickets and do not refund the booking fee. Neither solicitor could see any justification in their Terms and Conditions as to why this might be possible. At this point, we would need to proceed via customer services, legal action or involve our credit card companies (including Amex) to regain this fee

Check 16th Feb , tickets to be had!

I have just been on to Ticketmaster and bought 2 tickets for Sat Jan 23rd. Looks like tickets are back on sale!!

    Block 111

Although I have to say I've checked a lot of the other dates and I can't find any tickets. Maybe I just got lucky?

I went through this link: http://www.o2mj.co.uk/ and selected random dates. The front TM page still all sold out, but who knows?!

But basically on every date page you can actually select a number of tickets, whereas before it just said sold out
  • I have a slight worry now after Ticketmaster saying that any tickets over the above permitted allocation of 4 tickets will be cancelled without refunding the booking fee.

Would we have our booking fee refunded if MJ didnt actually turn up as there has been various rumours circulating that he may not even turn up and just claim his insurance to get his big payday, or if in fact he can last 50 shows.

I have tickets for Feb 2010, but if he doesn't last that long and the concert didnt take place, surely I should get a full refund including the booking fee.

Can anyone shed some light on this concern of mine!!

    Cheers
    Phil
