how about if like me you got 6 tickets on your credit card but over 2 ticketmaster accounts in diff names?

If there the same billing address they are likely to cancel them. They dont look just at names,or cards, they look at addresses and if there the same they will cancel them.

Apparently its not ticket master who are canceling them its AEG decision and have advised ticket master they intend to enforce it. Just been on the telephone to TM and they wont say when but advised to keep an eye on the web site early next week, as its apparently not just based on if you bought 8 from ticket master. If you bought 4 from ticket master and 4 from Ticketline then you will also lose them. Had to wait 15minuts to talk to a supervisor to ask.

Not the case unfortunatly. Ive done this before when I went on and got offered better tickets I went over the limit of tickets and they cancelled the better tickets.

Thought so...was just holding onto any hope....

am not sure whether this is to be believed but see the following (second thread). Would be nice if AEG and Ticketmaster got their act together quickly.

Right guys this is from the Ticketing Manager at AEG Live (the tour promoter) If you have booked 4 tickets for 3 different shows they will not be cancelled! Ignore what ticketmaster tell you as they are wrong and will be contacted by AEG to ensure they are aware of this. I rang up ticketmaster again today to try and cancel two of my orders only to be directed to the AEG website as it is them that cancels the tickets (according to MR Ticketmaster). After surfing the net for a telephone number I finally managed to contact the Ticketing Manager who was extremely helpful, and she assured me I would not have any of my tickets cancelled as it is 4 tickets per show. If, however I had book12 tickets all for the same day, 8 would be cancelled. Hope this makes some of you guys happy. I can now sleep again LOL

Although very unlikely, if anybody has any tickets for the first night on the floor or tier 1, and would like to sell them at face value - then I will oblige and purchase them.

Well done to everybody who got tickets.

The 4 tickets per person may come back to bite people, as I suspect they will take the best seats and dates you have first, as they will sell again instantly.

My expereince having just spoke to ticketline (as i'd purchased 4 tickets from ticketmaster for a july gig and 4 from ticketline for a jan gig) is that basically according to them, that's ok and they had not been informed of any restrictions. Which kinda makes sense as if they were enforcing the whole 4 tickets across all promoters, then surely that would require all the different agencies e.g. ticketmaster, seetickets and ticketline sharing customer information. And I'm not sure they would do that? Also I didn't see the '4 tickets only across all promoters' message when booking either sets of my tickets, so how could they just say that now? To be honest this whole thing has been one stress after another - I think AEG live should put out an official response as I'm sure there is a lot of conflicting info being given out at the moment.
