Is this the same for everyone else - if so, have they withdrawn this perk?
Same for me. You could try this one, perhaps:

Hi can I just ask, do they ever question you when you have booked on this friends rate?
Just worried knowing my look they would.
Oh and do you still get priority points on these reservations?
Many Thanks

Millet....I was asked once for the friends printout but never questioned, and I've never heard of anyone having it refused. As for points I was always under the impression that you couldn't get points on special rates. However, last week my parents went on a HIexpress 2 for 1 night offer and was asked for their priority card. They expressed they didn't have one as knew they couldn't get points on cheap rates but the lady said they could so they signed up. (Not sure if this was a ruse to get them to sign up or actually true?) HTH.0

Most likely as ruse as the employee gets a bonus if they get customers to sign up for PC club.couldn't get points on special rates.
There is a cut off where points are not awarded dependant on the rate paid-I think it's something like 40% under the standard rate (stab in the dark TBHO- I could find out but....)
However as this tends to be a manual input by under trained\bored staff you sometimes get lucky:D0 -
Hi, we have always got points on two for one nights, the only promotion we did not was the exclusive rate (35% off) and that can depend on the hotel some still do, this was explained when I rang Priority Rewards.
To check I just go to book on internet and it seems to say how many points will be earned for that stay (this is on the first page on the booking, so you can find out without going further into the booking).
I do find this funny how they decide though as the points are earned on how much money spent, so surely it should'nt matter? its not like same amount of points are given wether you have spent £200 per night or £50?0 -
I have used this many times and have saved loads but the discount does seem to be less nowadays so always try to go through a comparison site as well,
I have just booked the HI express in stoke and found it cheaper through trivage and then topcashback for only 1 night but i get over £15 cheaper not including cashbackBlessed on 18th February 2014 at 0814 with little Sarah xxx0 -
