Is the Friends and Family rate still available as I can't seem to access the page. Also, when trying to book 3 nights for the price or 2, I get a page saying that the IHG website is currently unavailable for bookings!:mad:

I'm clearly missing something with this offer, or my maths skills are very lacking.

How can 35% off give a lower cost than 2 for 1?

I'm looking at the Portsmouth site (not the express).
Thursday to Saturday in May or June
35% off total £138
2 for 1 £152 ???
They 'appear' to jack the price of the 2 for 1 deals up, before applying the discount. But I have to admit I don't understand how they get their day rate ? It seems to change depending on the offer you pick !
That can't be right... can it ?

Just worked for me. I got a room at Heathrow for £42, which is £8 cheaper than the 35% off rate.

Hi I am looking to book the 14th July at Kings cross and im only getting stupid prices? Where am I going wrong? I'd stay anywhere in this area if any1 has any tips - its for us to get eurostar the next morning and there is 2 adult 2 kids - many thanks - and tips to other ways to try would be much aprreciated - im a complete dope at getting deals !!!

I've previously seen several offers for 20% off food and drink at IHG hotels - specifically Holiday Inn (for a midweek stay - next week).

I've seen that there is one currently available, but you need a copy of the coupon which is e-mailed.

Does anyone have a coupon they wouldn't mind e-mailing me ? - This would be for a mid week stay.

This would really be appreciated.

Dont know if this helps anyone, but just joined the gourmet society and noticed that the holiday inn we are going to, in 2 weeks time is in their booklet with 25% off total bill, as we have booked 2 nights and 1 dinner in package this will help with 2nd night dinner it states inclusive of drinks, on checking other holiday inns we go to, these are also in the gourmet book. worth checking if you are a regular

When I try this it opens a new window and defaults to the friends and family rate, no other options?

Tastecard has lots of the HI restaurants too, many of them are 50% off the total food bill.

Just reporting that I used the F&F link in the first post today and got a reduction of about 15% on the normal rate. This is for a home counties hotel during the Olympics and there didn't seem to be any 35% reduction available, so I'm happy with my saved £10
