I have been trying for a few days to book using the codes on this thread and also the Boots link but keep getting this error : ResService4340 Are the links still valid??

(Thanks for the OP .. I used the links a few times last year and got great deals)

I too have been receiving ResService4340 error on all Special Offer and 2 for 1 bookings, normal rate bookings work if you head to the IHG default website. I have been using the 2 for 1 rate now for a year 4 nights a week, will be a major blow if Holiday Inn have cancelled! any info appreciated.

I've just emailed Holiday Inn about the Boots offer as it is valid until December 2010. I will keep you updated when (if?) I receive a reply.

Still the same error, happens on all Special Offer Links I have tried, when I google the error ResService4340, it simply links me to this thread.

    Hi,
If you google Holiday Inn Friends and Family or 2 for 1 you can get valid links if the other don't work. I did it this way yesterday.

I've just booked a hotel using the F&F on the first page .... it went through fine.

Tried that today the 2 for 1 link still gave and error, maybe its a technical issue with my Win XP IE 6 Browser? Will attempt on my Win 7 home PC and report back later.

chem_j .. I would love to know what link you are using for 2 for 1 please.

I have been trying for nearly a week using many different links (from Google) still getting the same error message.

    Thank-you

The link on the first page is working fine for me.

Have you managed to go through and make a booking?

I can get to the offer pages, but then when I attempt to make the booking I get the error message. Just spent another 30 mins trying different links, deleting history/cookies etc etc

Think it's time to give up!

I can get as far as I can without paying! Can you post a screenprint of the error you are getting?
