I know! They even have scrambled eggs and either sausages or bacon, with their breakfasts now.

I have just booked a Holiday Inn Express for €39.83 which includes breakfast. The Travelodge which is next to it was €49.00 room only. :j :money:

    THANKS once again OP!

I have booked 4 nights in Bath using the 2 for 1. Thursday to monday. Unfortunatly it looks like we are not able to stay on the Thursday night. I have rung the hotel up and they cannot transfer our booking. does anyone know if they would still hold the booking for us if we didnt turn up on the first night. I appreciate we are still going to be charged which isnt a problem. Just dont want to turn up on the Friday to be told the whole booking has been cancelled.
Its a great link and have used it many times saving us a lot of money.

I have seen someone being turned away when arriving on the second day so I would tell the hotel if I were you or better still get it in writing.

Just want to confirm that the Leisure rate is working as of today.

Also, please also check the Holiday Inn website not using a link, before booking. All of the links bought in a more expensive price than the Advance Purchase which was £78 at the Holiday Inn in Taunton - and some did not include breakfast. The Friends and Family link was going to be £68 but we figured it was better to pay £78 as this included breakfast for all of us.

    HTH.

This Friends and Family thing seems a bit dodgy to me. I'm definately not going to get turned away if I use that?

Am I correct that you need to print out the voucher, fill it in and bring it with you when checking in? Have I missed anything as I am going on holidays on Friday morning and I don't want to arrive at the hotel and encounter any problems because I used the special rate?

yes you are correct, I've been several times (also me mate has)
however sometimes they ask for the voucher, sometimes they don't (if & but's)

better safe than sorry, if you haven't got it, you run the risk of being charged the full rate
  • Was just looking for a last minute break starting at the weekend Sunday). I've just clicked through the 2 4 1 and got 38.50 each night for two nights (22/23 August) and then 55.00 each night for the next two nights (24/25 August). In the 'rules' it says 'MUST STAY AT LEAST: 2 NIGHTS
MUST STAY NO MORE THAN: 2 NIGHTS'. So would I be able to book these two dates or would that not be allowed? Would booking the first in my name and the second in my partners get around this?
