I've just signed up to O2 mobile broadband. Got a free phone with it, must have missed out on this offer.
Can I just say though, I'm extremely disappointed with it. It's incredibly slow, and I'm not paying £15 per month for it to take 30-45 seconds to search for a page on Google. It's terrible, DO NOT BUY O2 MOBILE BROADBAND.
I'm packing the whole thing up tonight (phone included) and sending it back to them. You have 50 days to return it.Capital ONE :£2,208.00 (£50.00 pm) . Welcome Finance £4,588.10 (£99.90 pm) . i do think it depends on how good a phone signal you get for O2 as to how good the mobile broadband would be also, there was a website published somewhere where you enter your postcode, and it recommends whether mobiole broadband would work or not.....it said it was fine for my house, but not good for my girlfriends where i was hoping to use it part of the time (and loan to her so she can get basic web access)£4988 Lloyds TSB Mastercard
£400 O/D Lloyds TSB
£2650 Lloyds TSB Loan

Their not Free you pay for them in the bundle.
Carphone Warehouse, Phones 4u and 3 have already stop promoting laptop deals with the word free. I understand this is because they believe the word free could be misleading and fall foul of Trading Standards regulations.0 -

Tariff is around £15 a month more than the mobile broadband dongle, so you end up paying £350+ for the "free" NC10. Possibly not a bad deal if you were going to get one on the credit card and pay it off over 2 years though.0

thats basically how i am looking at it, i was interested in mobile broadband anyway, and rather than stumping up for a laptop straight away i get to pay it off over 2 years @15/month (approximately)
am looking to start working for and on something myself, and remember reading on here years ago how Martin was working out of a cheap office (ie: starbucks) the only downside with O2 is that thier free wifi access is with the Cloud, but tmobile uses tmobile hotpsots which i think there are more of nationwide (ie: in starbucks).... hmmmm, decisions decisions
ps: are these available for existing o2 customers signing up via quidco?£4988 Lloyds TSB Mastercard

Don't quite see the point at around £360, because they're only about £320 in the shops or online. Why not just put it on an interest free credit card deal?
If you do the former, then you're then locked into a 24 month contract on what in 2 years may be an unfavourable mobile broadband rate. The prices are likely to come down a lot over that period. No free lunch, and no free laptop

But if you can't pass the credit check for a credit card (especially if you're only looking for a minimal credit limit), then you're not going to pass the credit check for a free laptop either. No free lunch, and no free laptop

i know someone who failed the credit check for a credit card on Monday, but passed the O2 check for a laptop deal on Wednesday, they're an O2 customer, not sure if that makes a difference... the laptops werent in stock on wednesday, dont know if that was just short supply, he did receive it on thursday though via courier.
thats why i was asking whether the laptops were meant to be in stock, or whether they get sent out£4988 Lloyds TSB Mastercard
