I can't explain that credit anomaly. I doubt if they hold (much) stock in the shops though.
I was just trying to make the point that they're not actually free, and indeed will probably cost you more over a 2 year period than if you bought both the laptop and the mobile BB service another way.

i agree, it does work out a bit more pricey, and like you say, isnt taking into consideration the fact that the mobile BB price could drop in that 2 year period.....only other thing i could think of about that credit anomaly is exactly that, he's been with o2 for a couple of years and never missed a payment, high spend etc....
