I just came to post the same!!!!! The 2 adaptors that came with the pack are the same size (although they look different), and are too small for the Dyson. I have the cylinder one - DC8.

I think mine is a DC19 or similar, allergy version (the Dyson codes make my head spin)

I recieved this from them this morning

With reference to your recent order placed with ourselves for PETPACK X 1ZWPT X 1ZPCT X 1 at a total cost of £9.95 . I am writing to inform you that on this occasion your credit / debit card failed authorisation when we tried to take payment for the goods.

Maybe I put the dates in the wrong way around??? (I've done that before).
There is money in the account.

Maybe its a stroke of luck in case it doesn't fit my DC07?

Ok, I'm officially shocked. Here's the reply I got:

We are Bissell, not Dyson which would probably explain why it does not fit.
Unfortunately we are unable to offer a refund as you are now outside of your 30 day trial period.
If you have any further enquiries, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

    Thank you for contacting Bissell.

    How rude!

Refer them back to their website where it states compatability ;)

That's staggeringly bad customer service. I've just ordered one of these, and feel like cancelling my order now I've read that! I've got a Henry, and assumed that seeing as they say:
Universal adaptor - The Pet Pack comes with universal adaptors to fit most major vacuum brands : Bissell, Dyson, Vax, Hoover and Electrolux etc.
on their website, that it would stand a good chance of fitting mine. Now I'm not so sure ...

If I were you, I'd send a complaint by registered/recorded post to the MD of the company. Maybe the email was handled by a particularly stroppy incompetent worker who needs a bit of a wake-up call!

Perhaps it's because you pointed out that they say it's compatible with Dysons... and now someone's brain is in an infinite loop :D

    We are Bissell...
    Say it fits Dysons...
    But we are Bissell...
    Not Dyson...
    Error....error...

mine came today..... and it doesnt fit my hoover either :mad:

i have an electrolux - one of the brands it says it fits!! the end to fit the attachment fits my hoover - the other end is exactly the same size as my hoover so wont fit on the outside or inside.

i was thinking about getting a bit of tubing like you would get on a hoover and taping the two smaller ends of the adaptors together and then it would fit!! i dont want to send it back as i was so excited to get something to get rid of the cat hairs!! :o

    xx

I got a voicemail on Friday (no email or anything), a lady left me a message apologising for inconvenience and telling that a refund of £9.95 was authorised for me. She didn't ask to post the post the item back, just to 'dispose' of it!

(Well, and I didn't even ask for a refund - that is a result for me...)
