I got the bissel pet hair remover vacuum. I filled the container twice in the first go at the (cream) front room carpet.

It's great. I got down on the floor with a torch and a magnifying glass and couldn't find a hair! Great stuff and it's pulling the pile up again. Saved me throwing the carpet out :) I am now very happy to roll about on a carpet I had really given up on :)

If the attachments are like the ones I have you should get a great finish. I never heard of bissel, always used my vax but I still have trouble believing just how good that vac is. :j

Hooray for a vac that works! Makes housework worth the bother :rotfl:

I got the Dyson one - to go with my Dyson animal.

But I never use it, Its too big for the stairs & its so bug I may as well just use the hoover, I've got a leather sofa, so no need there.

I like the sound of rubber fingers/grabbers on this though:D

yes the rubber fingers appealed to me too! :)

i have two light-coloured siamese, and a brown sofa...and one of my boys seems to malt all the time. no matter how thoroughly i hoover up there is always cat hair somewhere! drives me mad!

but i love them of course :D (the cats, not the hairs)

Fay - haven't forgotten you but you know Easter blah blah - asked the little man & he will photo later - in the meantime he says if you look at the black plastic bits closely they have arrows printed on them

Has anyone not tried the Furminator? Although I don't need one for my cats my mate has one and she says it works a treat.

It's not suitable for all breeds.
    From website: http://www.vetuk.co.uk/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=2391

FURminator treatments are NOT recommended for the following breeds of cat:
Balinese, Bombay, Cornish Rex, Devon Rex, European Burmese, Havana Brown, Javanese, Korat, LaPerm, Oriental, Ragamuffin, Singapura (Depends on coat), Sphynx, Tiffany-Chantilly, Turkish Angora, Turkish Van, York Chocolate.

I ordered this shortly after the OP.
Only just got around to trying it... and it doesn't fit my dyson :/ The two adapters don't fit. The wording on the pack is (as my know-it-all O/H points out) is a bit fuzzy.
I'll probably ebay it, so no harm done.. just a heads up!

I just came to post the same!!!!! The 2 adaptors that came with the pack are the same size (although they look different), and are too small for the Dyson. I have the cylinder one - DC8.

I didn't notice your post till now & I bought one:(:(:(:(

I'm pretty sure I read it DOES fit Dyson?

Surely a refund is in order?

I filled the product enquiry form on Bisell website saying exactly that (didn't ask for refund yet), will let you know what they reply.
