Scales wise, I have not moved and Im getting a bit fed up really-so must start in earnest eating LESS and doing MORE. That's all there is to it!
scales havent moved coz muscle wieghs more than fat, so think that with all this exercise, youve reduced your fat and gained musle, that why the scales havent moved:D

I agree with Webitha, if possible, Bunny, get yourself on one of those weird weighing machines you see in pharmacies that measure your BMI and body fat percentage, you'll probably find your percentage body fat is fairly low and that will mean the weight is more muscle. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. QueenBess - do give the home delivery a try. I know it can be up to £5 for delivery, but believe me you will save a lot more than £5 by not buying the "ooh look at that....such a bargain.....I should get two" itemsYOUR = belonging to you (your coat); YOU'RE = you are (I hope you're ok)
really....it's not hard to understand :T0 -
Hey Suzy, how come Picture loans get a 'Grrrrr' they a bad company or you don't like the amount? Tell me to fob off if I'm being too nosey, it's just the geordie lady from the ad got on my nerves. Not an expert, but I try and contribute and I'll always listen. I'll get a few bits out for Bea Sal.
Anything for Joe GREATLY appreciated as he's grown 4cm since Dec. Must be feeding the little bleeder to much !!!!!!£.
Do you ever get that feeling in your chest where you just love your kids so much you wish you could run NOW and hug them? Got that right now...Empty pockets never held anyone back, only empty heads and empty hearts can do that -Peale0 -
You're quite right Suzy, I hadn't thought of it like that before. I may well suggest that to DH tonight. however, I suspect he'll poopoo the idea as he likes going round the supermarket! But this could be because he wants to be tempted by the offers and goodies! I'll see what he says though!
Along with Suzy's 'grrrr', I would just to add one please! But not for any companies, but my tights!! Bought a 5 pack of 15 denier tights from M&S for £2.50. I thought they were a bargain, but being from M&S thought the quality would still be there...Nope! 2nd time of wearing a pair and there is a huge hole and ladder! Thankfully hidden under my long skirt, but still!
I should have taken India Knight's advice from her money saving book (name escapes me, but it's very good) and she said not to scrimp on tights and to buy good quality ones. I've always resisted as I thought I'd be just as likely to put a finger through expensive ones as easily as cheap ones, but I wish I'd taken her advice now and gone for the better quality ones! Am I alone with this problem, or can anyone recommend cheap but quality tights?!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109

QB - are you on the first pair? Take them back... M&S will give you your money back no problem...
i dunno about thin denier tights, primark opaques are good for a few wears at £1 a pair... (i have a lovely personal shopper called Jet from DFW who picks them up for me! lol!)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Can I just state for the record that I have no desire to go walking or running:rotfl:

Thanks Maz. Will they really take them back? I thought holes and ladders were just one of those things that couldn't be avoided, but I suppose if they've not lived up to my expectation, then it might be worth a try. I'll read the guarantee on the box!
Alas our new shopping centre isn't having a Primark, much as I'd love one, so our nearest one is Ipswich, but good to know if I want to stock up next time I'm there! So thanks for that.Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My DebtsDFW Long Hauler #109
