sally - you are so getting a kick up the bum BTW!! you are one of the most dedicated runners i know!!! you're an inspiration to me personally, so please do not beat yourself up about this preparation for London marathon...!

I can guaruntee (sp) that 25% of the people who are doing London will not even have prepared a 10th the amount you have!!! (nothing like plucking figures outta the air, eh!!! lol!!)

This is not about fast times and PB's! you are doing this for the experience, the fund raising and for yourself!! please stop beating yourself up, cause you really don't deserve the pressure you're putting on yourself!

    Love you babes....

Hey Maz, meant to say it's weigh-in night for me too and I really don't hold out much hope! Went out for 2 meals at the weekend and have been finding all kinds of rubbish to eat!
I had a moan with the Tuesday night instructor about how I couldn't get motivated and she said she's going to ring me tomorrow - what a personal service! I think my Thursday night instructor has almost given up on me!

Oh well, it may sink in one day! HOpe you get on OK. QBx

I think that's great about your instructor calling you, Bess, I don't think it takes much to go that extra mile for people. I know. In Primark, sometimes if the person was really nice, I would go that extra mile to help them. Be that calling up another store to see if they had what they wanted in stock, or giving them the kimble number and advising them to ring up the next day to ask if we had had it on the delivery. But then again, on somedays it didn't matter how nice the person was, I just had a look for them and that was that. I'd like to find a job where going the extra mile becomes the norm for me, I don't like giving less than 100% to people.

I am thinking I may go for a brisk walk later tonight becasue my legs hurt!

Luc-waiting patiently for pics...HURRY UP! How are you getting on with BF? He sounds a bright wee soul-sleeping 6 hours makes life bearable. Long may it continue.

Thanks Blackruby! I had tried to put her off as I thought what is she going to tell me that I don't already know, but she was insistent and my friend said that it couldn't do any harm talking to her. My only thing is that it gets me down being overweight and I'll probably cry at her, which would be most embarassing! But listening to someone different might be what I need.

Our cupboards are almost bare at home, so maybe that's a good thing too - we're off shopping tomorrow to stock up and we shall make a list and stick to it! Therefore we can get healthy stuff in and not find excuses not to lose weight! I just hope I can lose a stone or more before the summer - just over 3 months to my birthday, so it's perfectly acheiveable (sp?)!

Will let you know the (probable) bad news tomorrow!

Well done Bunny - maybe that's what I need to do! Get up at the crack of doom and get out there running/walking. maybe even drag DH with me!

If you can afford the delivery charge, it might be worth doing your shopping online so then you can't physically see the snacks and crisps so you wont be tempted to buy them. A lot of people here recommend mysupermarket.com or co.uk, can't remember which, it shows you which supermarket is cheaper to get what you are currently buying.
