i applied 5 times, different addresses, had one lot back for fri 3 april, had a great day, lot of school trips though.

Got another lot back for may, still waiting on the other 3, seems they are doing them by date you picked order, earliest first.

Theres a new pizza/pasta place opened there, opposite runaway mine train, all you can eat and drink job for £6.99, great tasting pizza, pasta salad etc, well worth a visit.

Sharkbait reef is pretty good to.

I use express parking, i think the extra £5 worth it, saves time in morning and when you leave :-)

Did you have a family day out? I was just wondering what ages it is best suitable for as I have a 12yr old and a yr old to amuse and want them both to enjoy it! Any advise you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thanks:D

We did have a family day out but my child and her boyfriend are 16 and 18 respectively so they went off on their own and did their thing while me and my husband spent a leisurely day out.

There is plenty to do for all ages. Old macdonalds farm and cloud cuckoo land would be perfect for your 2 year old and dependant on your 12 year olds height there are plenty of rides for them too.

My advice would be if you are having a family day out split up once you get there let one parent take the younger child to the suitable areas and the other parent take the 12 year old where they'd like to go. Then meet up for dinner and spend the rest of the day together?

That way both children will get to do what they want and you'll also get enough time to enjoy it together

    Hope this helps
