The only difference I would say Hypno is that Snowdon is nowhere near KM in alititude so while climbing it may prepare you in terms of fitness it wont prepare you for the alititude - which can affect people weirdly...

Dont let that put you off though - just do it with a proper company who will take time to lead you up the mountain :D

yep - from reading the article it needs to be a company who doesn't rush everyone up and down as quickly as possible to allow for the change in altitude.

    Blimey pooky.........that's a bit mad!!

Snags-I have a sneaking suspicion this is not the end of the Snags/!!!!!! saga-if I was more clever I would take every episode of his twuntiness and put it all in one looooong post so you could peruse whenever you felt like 'being friends' with him again.
I really hope it's the end. I just don't want it any more. :(

I think he just came online looking for me. He signed in, but signed out after a few seconds. I was showing offline (plus I've blocked him lol) so he couldn't see me.

I had no desire to speak to him whatsoever. In fact I felt quite sick just seeing his name.

I've just been through and deleted every email he ever sent me. I was sobbing as I did it, but every little thing I do seems to make me feel that bit stronger.

Pregnant DD is fine. Roll on Friday. I'm more nervous than she is. Hopefully nothing nice will happen to me before then.

That decision is in your hands hun, it's more about you saying 'this is the end' rather than 'hoping' it's the end.

I sometimes feel that everytime something good happens to me (Saturday) something bad or problematical follows (cancelled wedding). :o

    Well,
I had a brief look online as tbh, I know it's a massive undertaking but one I would be prepared to do the work for-I am by no means unaware of the risks involved etc.

I have requested info from a company that does the charity treks-it's £495 to enter and you have to raise £3500. I said to Sammy this morning that we really would need at least a year to sort it out-fund raising and training etc.

Like Hypno said-if you want to do it, you just have to train! I couldn't run a mile in Oct but did 3 the other day...baby steps and all that.

I mentioned it to DH and he was all for it!

Snags my friend-I feel like crying with you and I so SO hope you stay strong. It hurts me as a friend to see you so down and deflated. The amounts of times you listened to me cry this past year...well I feel like I need to be doing more for you.
