Well then you want the Weathspoons on Corn Street...
Its a whole street of pubs!!!
But for the definitive guide you want:

Oh and accomodation wise - avoid the Travelodge in the 'town centre' as it isnt central or nice - in fact there's loads of building work going on and the road is horrendous
Try the Ibis by the train station - thats cheapish for Bristol anyway0 -

Shouldn't be difficult, there's a couple of Wetherspoons pubs in the city centre, one of which is on the waterfront.0 -
The other area worth checking out is whiteladies road - loads of bars and less studenty at weekends and the downs is at the top - its about 20 mins away from the town centre or three stops on the train from the train station to Clifton Wood
Right I'll step off my guide to Bristol step now...0 -

Plus if we go up to the downs (ha!), there are picnic opportunities, the Suspension Bridge is nearby, as is Clifton Village, which has some nice, old style pubs.0 -
Oooo indeed - lovely pubs up there...whats the small grass bit by the Suspension Bridge called?? I Havent been up there for ages - since they got rid of the botanical garden (I used to have a key through a friend)...0

10th OctoberNow you're asking, I can't for the life of me remember.
I don't tend to venture to that part of Bristol very often.

I would be a definite maybe - if I do make it Jinks I could pick you up and drive to the airport. (yes it would be a roundabout trip but less scary than coming on my own!) depends on finances etc so wouldn't be able to commit until Augustish.Mortgage OP 2025 £6250/7000Mortgage OP 2024 £7700/7000
