Well we did but then a few people said that it conflicted with a race or something, so now I'm not sure.

    Hi

let me know if I can help with places to go as I live in bristol.
Its easy to get too by train or coach.
The airports few miles out but theirs a bus link to town centre.

Bristol as a city is very sperad out and not as central as cardiff where I used to live.

Some places can be pricey like clifton village some parts of whiteladies road.
Its also got 2unis so may get busy sept/oct time with freshers weeks.

The weatherspoons in corn steet is always packed and fairly large even the pack gets busy as thats the eating area.

The waterfront has a Lloyds bar same chain so similarish prices. But think slightly higher prices

The other weatherspoons is up top of park street(The berkley) so near waterfront and hippodrome thats the area we call the centre!

Shoppings good got new cabots circus shopping centre mainly pricey shops though, poor galleries centre has cheaper shops and looks slightly more deserted now!

The new huge primark us due to open in august I believe and will be 5whole floors of cheap clothes!

If you stay in suberbs bear in mind first charge quite high bus fares here!

Theres a travel lodge in emerson green on outskirts of bristol might be cheaper due to location.

It depends how many people can or can't make it. If there's going to be three of us, then it's best to move, if the majority can make it, we'll leave it.

Shall do a new thread with poll...http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1714307

Okay from the other poll looks like the majority can make it or are at least maybe's so we'll stick with the 12th and I'll start a new thread after Leeds to focus everyone.

Bumped today as it was mentioned :)

I worked it out and next weekend makes it exactly 12 weeks before Bristol and when the train times / tickets are released. So I'll start the new thread over next weekend.
