12th SeptemberCool, I reckon I could probably do a direct train by meself. Saying that, my DD keeps threatening to come with me :rolleyes:Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Bristol is very easy to get to from anywhere so none of those excuses. Even you Scots can fly very cheaply - about £20 each way from Belfast/Edinburgh/Glasgow.
They are also on a main train lineNo longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

10th Octoberpotentially, any of those dates are fine for me in principle, although I know there is one weekend in September I can't do, which escapes me. :think:0

Venue wise there are a few good weatherspoons - one in the town centre, but the street its on can be rowdy on the weekend or one up Park Street which is a bit more studenty...
Or there are some lovely bars (less cheap) on the waterfront - especially the Arnofini (sp?) bar which is my favourite...althoguh there's a lovely pub just round the corner (over the road by the bridge) which I can never remember the name of thats good tooThese places are great for sunny summers
