Sky telephone line installations

Me girlfriend rang up yesterday had a right chew on with Sky. First of all she rang to cancel the kids and style pack and then mentioned bb. So she was transferred to the bb section. When she mentioned about line installations she was told that customer services re-imburse the £123 if we take out bb, talk and rental. Excellent news. She was then put through to customer services who said in all the time she has worked there sky have not done this, even for new customers and we would have to pay bt £123. Obviously my g/f was not happy by this time. She now wants to cancel sky so im thinking about leaving it til May when the footy season finishes and threaten to cancel it as Ive had enough.

Dunno if you have already arranged it or if you can cancel but the post office can install a line for around £105, no contract and can cencel their calls after 15 days if you wanted to go with sky talk. Im in the same boat as you as thats the route Ill probably take in the next few days.
