Good morning everyone – can’t believe I have been up since 5.30am and have almost done my days housework etc..

I have a carrot soup simmering away in the big slow cooker and a pasta sauce cooking in the little slow cooker. I think my neighbours must have wondered what was going on when I started frying things off.. But I never want to see another carrot again.. I peeled just under 4kg while D was having his breakfast. I think he wondered what I was on..lol

The kitchen is all clean and shiny, the dog bed is on a boil wash (almost finished now!). Clean washing taken off the airer and folded up waiting to be ironed later.

Dogs and cats have been deloused and defleaed and are now sulking in their respective bed areas..

Think I’ll do a half hour or hour of ironing while listening to the local radio :D
    Well done

When lifting or turning your mattress slide it towards you a lift it by holding it from underneath. Never fold it in half or bend it. Turning the mattress frequently over the first few months will allow the fillings to settle evenly. You should alternate by turning the mattress from side to side and end to end. Thereafter you should turn the mattress monthly
    Sorry not a chance.
I used to turn it regularly, but I just do not have the strength in my wrists anymore. So I have to work myself up to do it (so maybe every six months)

    Well done SarahS. :T:T:T:T

That's two bits of great news in one day.
Well actually three here. I got a phone call yesterday from a friend who had been recalled for a biopsy after a mammogram. She had just been given the 'all clear' by the hospital.:j:j:j

Out for coffee this morning and class in afternoon, but I will fly this week I promise:o

    morning :hello:

OH called me ystd after he'd left for work (5pm) from the garage just down the road, he was getting fuel and when he wanted to drive away the car wouldn't start  - luckily we've only just signed up with RAC (free thanks to tesco vouchers :money: :D ) - but they had him wait for good an hour! so he came home after for a nice cup of tea and to warm up and left for work a tad late :rotfl: (it needed a new battery - £67  )

Getting there... didn't go to the gym this morning as I realised that I should be doing alternate days this week, so all that preparation can be saved for tomorrow morning! I might go to yoga tonight if work goes OK, but I'm WAY behind on my paperwork, so I might just stay and catch up.

Off now to wash & dress. See you all tonight!
