Not much flying going to be done here today. DD is off school after being sick in the night and I only got a couple of hours sleep. Looking on the bright side I've cleaned the bathroom and changed her bed. I'm just working my way through the washing mountain - 3 loads done, 1 left.
I'll try and catch up later

Well done Lil_me! That's fab! You've done something really good there
As I don't have a spare room or kids, I'm going to do shredding (it's a mahoosive pile!) and washing up and as I've promised to cook dinner tonight  I'm going to do a little bit throughout the day.
I'm up and dressed (don't really bother to get dressed unless I'm going out) as the plumber is coming to mend the boiler! Yay! Nice hot bath coming up later!
Still catching up on the thread so hugs to all"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Morning ladies and you Phil and OJ if you are about you too.
I've got my blunt head on today so please try to read between the lines of posts - none are meant to offend.
DS2 still off sick but DS1 sent back.
SS - you advise us all of the time and I'm sure some of us are young so there you go totally qualified - good luck sweetie.
MOJ4 - hugs hun. I've seen the fallout of affairs up close too many times to have any sympathy for people in that situation (sorry if that offends anyone) Your 'friend' is being totally selfish to so many people. For me the situation would be simple as I'm good at zero tolerance for things that mean alot to me morally. I'm sure that is no help to you but it is fine to not accept how other people live there lives and to have no part in it.
Soappie so sorry to hear about BB and hope all turns out well
Right I am going to finish my dalies and then get on with my list. Hoping to get to pilates later. Not keen on the idea right now but I enjoyed it last week so hope to when I get there. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Hope you get it all done Phil!
ETA: Mozzy, I was told by my support worker that doing voluntary work is a great first step toward getting back into employment. You can put it on your CV and it shows potential employers in the future that you are willing to work, teamplayer, motivated, etc"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Well, I've made a start:-
washing up done
builders tea made
laundry room tidied round
shoe and coat cull done
moved drying clothes into living room so I can get to garage
towel wash slung into WM
garage  - even more cluttered than I remember - will try and find my camera so I can do a before shot - have got to dejunk and tidy the garage out so that there is room for all the stuff from the downstairs cupboard and boiler house/garden storage room as these are being converted to a downstairs loo from next week.
Deep breath then I'm going in.......................I'd rather be watching CSI!0 -
Morning all
It's bright but cold here today. Now I have finished reading Miss A's reading book from school I can get on! Vicky Angel by Jacqueline Wilson, very well written. I read it as Miss A told me what it was about and I wanted to be prepared for any questions it might throw up about the book or what has happened to us.
