Didnt do so well with the list last night, and i did loads really!! Need to think about amending my list more. Problem is, I want to do whats on the list and lots of other things that are relevant to me.....trying too much at once I think!!!

Picked up a load of whoopsies from tesco yesterday.......(only went in for pasta and spent £24  ) so spent last night splitting up the packs, putting jam on scones and freezing individually so i can take one out as appropriate and put it straight into little ones packed lunch. Also baked chocolate chip fairy cakes so he doesnt have to have the same treat everyday. :D

Sorted out some of my mammoth pile of ironing (babysteps) and split it into three piles, me, DS and school uniforms. Removed all pants and socks etc from the piles, which need to be sorted but at least the little individual piles look much more manageable than the whole lot - so will make a start on the ironing tonight.

Hope your all ok and love'n'hugs to those who need them - havent caught up with the thread properly - will try tonight xxxx

I have actually caught up on the thread, but now can't remember who I was going to comment to except the last one:

Sarah - good luck!! What job is it for?

No such luck on DH going back to work. He is still feeling rubbish... the fact that baby woke up every 2 hours last night probably hasn't helped matters either, poor thing. I have started to try and introduce a 7pm (ish) bedtime so we get time to ourselves in the evening. We got to play playstation games last night, and I had a relaxing bath instead of a rushed one with someone screaming for food in the other room! I don't know if the waking every 2 hours was coincidental or a result of her sleeping for longer, but we will persist and see how we get on!

We are still suffering from the spare room/nursery to be being full of bits of kitchen until it is finished (DH has set a date with his parents to do it now though, so we are one step closer) and we did what we could in there earlier in the week, so I've only listed things I can get done, and will try and get some extras done and crack on with Monday and Tuesdays lists :)

i can understand what you mean! it's kind of scary going back to work and actually interact with grown ups
what do you advise those young people??

i so want to go back to work and do at least something?!?!?
now both kids are at nursery for a few hours of the week - but i don't think i'll get a paid job for being availabe only such a short time - i thought maybe do some volunteer work? that might ease me back in as well
i don't even have 'proper' clothes anymore!
mostly jeans, baggy trousers and plain shirts
