Polka - lovely to see you pop in. And wonderful to hear about how the cakes are coming on. Fingers crossed for the business and the EH! You're doing so well. :T

Mumof477 - a toxic friend indeed. Stop answering the phone to her!

Philb - even though you think you've done little, you've done very well. Baking rolls and decluttering is a start!

Rach - thanks for the vibes and enjoy the opera and everything else!

    Washing up done.
    Cat litter tray changed
    Utility area floor washed.
BM on but timed to finish in the morning as I forgot to put it on earlier!
Proposal planned but still needs writing

    Off to bed

Night night all - sleep well

Getting there - slowly! WM has been on too - it gets progressively noisier (bearings are going) but is still surviving at the moment - thankfully! Every time I think I have the washing up to date MrEH digs out another pile from his floordrobe! I think we have it all in the linen bin now though. Will put another load through tomorrow night then have to decide whether to risk a load of towels or not - it might just kill the poor old machine!

I can cross another item off my list of things to do for the holiday as the ferry tickets arrived today! :T They are now checked and set aside with the "stuff to take with us". The lady who owns the cottage we rent on holiday might be using some of my photos for their website gallery too - she loves what she's seen! I'm really chuffed.....!

    6. Brasso oil lamp!
Have given the kitchen a much needed once over after rehoming what felt like hundreds of spider plant babies, so it'll still be all lovely in the morning, and that's it from me today - I'm cooked!

    Big hugs, catch y'all tomorrow!

Hi Polka - good to see you and glad it's all going well!

MoF77 - lots of people on here are dealing with toxic friends, so there will be plenty of advice. But remember, you've got enough of your own problems (and children ;) ) to deal with, without taking on someone else's. Rosepink's advice is very sound... be tough with the mum and cut the ties with daughter gradually. ((((hugs))) And if in doubt, channel Pigpen :p
