Once again it has not been a good day but at least I can get away from it all tomorrow as I am on a course. Trouble is it is not the kids that make it difficult ,,,,enough said!

Why are you starting at the beginning? It's the hardest place to start! Write the rest of it and then go back to do the introduction and it'll be MUCH easier!

You are sooo right - thank you for reminding me of that. I spent 30 minutes hung up on a title for gawd's sake!

I will now go with the REAL flow for the middle and end and then do the opening management summary afterwards. Bless you for reminding me of that :A

Dinner in the oven (cobbled up from random veg in the fridge and the remains from sunday's lamb)

Good result from the buildings insurance quotes. I presented my findings to him upstairs last night, he knocked the door tonight and told me he'd followed through. Best of all, I still don't get to pay half because I pay for the gardener.

Off to declutter my eyeballs a tad with a Miss Marple that's on cable with notepad and pencil in hand to do the middle bit of the proposal.

    Hi,

hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. Thanks for all the messages. Dh is happy in the bungalow as it's adapted for him. We've done the unpacking but still need to tidy up, finish decorating & buy furniture.

Today I've washed up, cleaned the washing-up bowl, hoovered the lounge, swept & mopped the hall, de-cluttered the lounge a bit, emptied bins, done laundry & errands. my aims for tomorroe are to check bins, laundry & dishes, do errands, wipe kitchen worktops, clean the loo & the bathroom sink & to wash the bedding in the spare room

Vacuum right the way up the stairs!
Sort through coats n bags n shoes etc - ohhhh, that's scary! Will save for tomorrow afternoon! I have an emotional attachment to my shoes!

The idea of sorting out shoes really worries me! We (including OH) have problems with throwing out old stuff! I have a real 'just-incase' mentality. I'm not sure how to get over this one...

    Will report back tomorrow! :)

I've got an even better idea :D . If you write my business cases, I'll write yours... it's bound to be easier if we're not actually involved in the outcome! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Emily - don't forget to let us know what you need... you never know when a flylady might be able to help out! Sounds like you're settling in well.

Raychee - it's Lent. Think of your shoe-sorting as charitable donations. Charity shops are apparently desparate for clothes and shoes, so would really appreciate you decluttering a few in their direction!

Bedroom now returned to normal (well actually, it's considerably tidier and I've moved some pictures round). Bed will need to be made at some point and I'll gradually move jewellery etc. back in during the week. But everything has been dusted & polished!

I've been very bad about my exercises today, so I'm going to do them while waiting for my supper to finish cooking. I had planned on a HHI or two while watching some bits on iplayer, but I think it'll just be a bath and then bed if I'm going to manage a 6am start tomorrow!

Triker - it made me laugh anyway!
Emily - glad it is going well, it sounds like you have been really busy.

Toots - I have finished todays list! :D:D:D Need to put the DW on, and sort uniforms for the morning but then I am finished.
