Don't need the info at all really... DO need to continue working with him both short term (management meeting on Wednesday morning, so me, him and 4 other blokes including our boss) and long term (in a company as big this, even when you move on you quite often end up working with the same people again in different roles).
Do you like this guy ? would you rather pm these messages? Officially Debt Free Nov 2012 :beer:0 -

I talked about it all over the last thread, so no secrets (although the chat ban comes into force at midnight!). I like the guy as a colleague, and don't date at work, so it's just finding a way of getting the message across without misleading him. I don't really want to have to have a confrontation, as that could potentially be embarrassing for both of us.
Toots - there's no conflict of interest in this case with a relationship, it's usually to do with seniority or segretation of duties which isn't relevant. I've had to declare one relationship in the past, when I got together with a consultant who I employed through one of my suppliers (he was highly embarrassed that my boss knew we were together, but we never let on to anyone else, as I didn't want people making assumptions that either of us were less than professional).0 -
Nice to have another Scot on the thread Jo, i think we're distinctly outnumbered!
I'm in this week, in a bit of a grump as my dishwasher has broken:rolleyes: And i smashed one of my good bowls and cups. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
toots hopeful yes, not the end of it by all means, he's realised I ain't impressed I think. It's not the fact he wants to race, it's him putting it first I lost my head about. Anyway yes hopeful, will dig deeper and see if he's really putting the boys and our holidays first (I only ask for the summer!!) or not....
Wohoooo 37.04 on it's way to my account from Quidco. I didn't realise they still owed me money, what a lovely suprise.
Watched Richard Branson's interview with Piers, been looking forward to that one. I think bed time with a little 'learning from each other' reading...see if I can dribble in my OU book again when I doze off reading
Night night everyone xxxOne day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
GnB - are you sure you DW is dead? I find electrical equipment quite often sorts itself out if I ignore it for a bit... and don't do any cooking or washing up if you're breaking things. Best to avoid it for a bit. Is it something you will be able to replace?0

I can understand why you don't date at work in my case i met my dh at work.
I would send him a reply saying thank you for you offer of a drink but you don't think your boyfriend would be too happy. He is not to know you don't have one !!!;) and this will stop others at work trying t on with the email flirtation.
If it was me and i was not married and i fancied the guy i would go it could be the start of a wonderfull relationship.
Your call babe you know in your heart what you want to do. Go with your instinct it's usually the right one
