That Zango is proving a nightmare to remove:idea:0

Have you tried SAS? (Im honestly getting lost now
)
Download SUPERANTISPYWARE (Make sure you click 'DOWNLOAD LATEST VERSION')
http://www.filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/
UPDATE and PERFORM COMPLETE SCAN:idea:0 -
Thanks RIK I'll do that now.
ETA: now it is running I recognise it, I ran it this morning and it found problems and 'fixed' them but not the dreaded Zango.
If this does not work OH is going to try 'hacking the registry' as per one of your previous posts. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
As a last resort I will provide a script for Combofix to remove that one stubborn entry.
Using Combofix is ideal because it backs up the registry using Erunt, this programme is far better than the built in windows version0 -

Im NOT saying this is a good idea
But this is from their actual site! ~
1. Click on the following link - http://installs.zango.com/downloads/Uninstaller/Uninstaller.exe
2. Click Run and follow on-screen instructions
3. Restart your computer.:idea:0 -
Thanks RIK - I've been reading up a bit on Zango and don't think I'd risk using the link above. Just going to run my morning scans and see what surprises I have instore today. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

To be honest. If your not willing to remove the registries by hand then you may as well just keep doing weekly scans till you know its gone for good as its hardly what I would call a 'threat' now.
Ive been trying to find a registry program Ive used in the past as it will TELL you what theyre related to and you simply tick them and remove them. Doing my head in ~ wish id wrote it down now
Best of luck anyways

New problem now guys - I've started getting undesireable emails - is this coincidence or possibly related - never happened before and I've not 'signed' up for anything.
RIK I do want to remove the register just not using Zango's own site.
Would it work if we backed up documents and picutes to an external drive and then DH reinstalled windows from scratch? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

This sounds like a good option, do you think there is a good chance it could work?
Would I need to pm you for the script? Many thanks for the time I'm sure you've taken to look into this. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
