    I've been Money Tipped!
Very clever! Sounds lovely but no leftovers here, I'm afraid :(

I've heard of lots of people frying leftover xmas pudding but not tried that myself. Waitrose did a mince pie ice cream this year so I'm wondering what christmas pudding ice cream would be like, with little bits of pud mixed in with vanilla ice cream?
  • That sounds great, I always have a little piece of pud left over. Well done!!!

I like the ice cream idea, and the porridge one, they both sound yummy!

  • My chickens will fight for leftover pudding - I prefer eggs to a stodgy pudding anyway.:rotfl:
  • That's a great use.

Another great use is Christmas Pudding Dessert wine. You can find the how to etc at https://www.winesathome.co.uk in the newbie section.

It's a messy job, but worth it!

My family is not too keen on xmas pudding, it always ends up in the bin. But not this year. I made it into a loaf. It soon disappeared.

    Ingredients

    10 oz Self raising Flour
    4 oz Butter
    4oz Sugar
    1 teaspoon Baking powder
    3 Eggs
+ any leftover xmas pudding (broken up with a fork)
    1 small cup of tea

Beat all the ingredients together. Grease a loaf tin and bake at 180 for about 40 min.

It was so good I'm now on the look out for reduced puddings. If anyone finds any can you let me know.

Happy New Year! (when it comes)

Was it more than the 50% off they have had for the past week?
