Hi everyone, I feel compelled to just add to the sense of wariness re glitches etc. I speak as an old Tesc..o points collector, arrived quite late into the game but managed to accrue many more than I ever had before. Thanks MSE and PTS.:D

What becomes apparent very quickly is that whilst large organisation i.e. Mr T's and Boots will tolerate the odd glitch they do not like people taking the proverbial.

Whilst many of us like to get items cheaply or sometimes for free I think the key is always moderation. Mr T's points system has been dramatically cut back, mainly it appears because some people became very vocal in their huge points accounts online and gave away personal info that made them easily identifiable.:shhh: Not only did they post their huge success's but many others (some of whom never contributed to the forums) either took extreme advantage, I'm talking making multiple orders of glitches, and/or this notified the companies concerned.

MSE is an extremely popular and busy site, do not doubt that Boots HQ will be well aware of this forum and numerous others re glitches etc. I urge folks to use an element of caution as it would be awful if what happened to the points system at Mr T's happens here. Many people were identified from their posts and had their points removed and accounts closed. Some people who challenged this eventually managed to get transcripts of their posts from different forums that Mr T had printed as part of their 'record'. Scary.


Using glitches is fun and voucher combining is sheer genius, I just hope Boots don't clamp down like Mr T did, it's a lonely world out there with no glitches/vouchers.:D

Yes definitly, ive always had trouble trying to find the right foundation colour for my skin as im incredibly pale, but the new ivory is fab and now even fabber with the half price on foundation, purply voucher combo!

Right just seeing if this works as have posted a reply 3 times now and its not appeared !! Managed to get the online Sanctuary GWP to work with handwash and hand lotion at £3.87 each (2 free gifts)........ would write more but as Ive typed it 4 times now Ive lost the will to do it again

Just had my free origins facial, so I'm looking fabulous :rotfl:
Also checked to see if my .com order had arrrived in store (got the despatch email last night)- and it had :j so seems to be coming 2 days earlier than stated on the website . My no7 gwp also had 2 points vouchers in it - lucky me!
No other offers on sels and no reduced No.7 to use my perkies on, will have to try later this week.

sinw the sanctuary still seems to be working for me but all the cheap stuff is out of stock, I think the cheapest now is the exfoliating gloves. £3.43. hth

Triker - the Tesco example is a good one for reminding folks to take care when relating entire conversations or arguments they've had in Boots. And to be wary having their location in their user profile or to reveal the store they've just fleeced!

Boots have already started to confiscate points - a friend of mine lost loads and I've read of others on here also losing out. (That was due to perceived abuse of the Parenting Club)

Just catching up on all the posts, I'm only on page 4 so sorry if this has been clarified.

Just post in here as normal.

The main problem with the Refugees was that people did not feel welcome, the thread had turned into a thread about random stuff in peoples life some of which was on a far too personal level. I also noticed there were several posts that were not so nice to people from the Grabbit thread. I have messaged Glad and about to contact Adrea and see what happens but in the meantime just continue as you were in here.

The reason for the thought about starting a chat thread was because although some of you may not mind the chat in here other people do and if it is reported then this thread can be closed down which is why i ask we don't chat too much.

As was posted a few thread ago please try to put a topic in the title. If you are talking or asking a question about a certain shop put the shop name in the title. If you are quoting a long post of a post with a pic in it snip it to not quote the full thing. With regard to posting glitches i think these should just be posted as normal.
