I have already thought of that one.. but do you need to give them any more ideas :rotfl:

Lol.....if we mere mortals have considered it Im sure Mr B has....but there's nothing realistically we can do about it. This thread will always be the friendliest, nicest, bestest (;) ) one on MSE, no matter how many chat/kill chat debates we have.
:j :j On topic, thanks to OP who talked about those little jars of cream, I'm gonna get some. ;)

Just found a jar of the Olay Definity Anti Ageing cream in the clearance section for £6 so decided to buy it and hoped that the green box GWP would go through without a problem. Well it did...YAY...but the till also took off another £5 as the range is on offer at the moment, this particular item is 'normally' £24.46 but on offer at £19.46! It cost me just £1 :D

It's certainly worth looking out for this range in the clearance section!!

    Good Luck Everyone!

I think it is a bit disingenuous to think that IF Boots do follow this thread, they will miss any glitches due to all the chat on here!

If we can be bothered to plough through it/enjoy reading it (delete as appropriate) to save a few quid, I think Boots will be very happy to pay a junior member of staff to do the same, since they are going to be saving an awful lot more!!
Many thanks for that - for me, that's the post of the day!

There's a fine line between having clear info on bargains (and making the thread user-friendly) and notifying Boots of glitches.

I really dislike invisible lettering as it means those that don't study every post in detail can miss out on a bargain. A few months ago, that's exactly what happened with one offer (sorry, can't remember exact details, but think it was cheap razors?).

But Boots can study this thread - every post - in detail. Invisible lettering is no problem to them - all you have to do to forcibly reveal it is highlight the text on an entire page and then read down. It ain't rocket science!

We know this site is monitored, as op have had their posts quoted back to them from CS. So never underestimate Boots.

Also Boots SA's post here and contribute the same as everyone else. Some also just read it. ;);) Other people have posted that they have been identified in their local store by their username. Including myself. :p

I think it is naive to believe that Boots do not have 'their 'people posting. But variety is the spice of life. You miss a glitch, you catch a glitch. Nobody gets them all. Sometimes its just being in the right place at the right time.

    hello!
havent been on for a bit as have been moving house and losing job, still trying to catch up!!
last night norwich castle meadow (not mall) had loads of make believe tanning stuff for £1.00 and up - v.low prices though and loads of the old tanning/self tan stuff for super cheap. men expert shaving oil - 24p - wilkinson sword razorblades - 54p some baby food @ 20p downstairs has a last chance no7 rack with the face scrub @ 3.80 and mostly tanning bits again - not for me as i prefer the 'never sees daylight' look.

which leads to my question - am off into town again (will post back later) for a new powder compact (powder foundation type one), but i need something really really light, all the ones i seem to get are orangy and look terrible.
    Any ideas?

Hi, regarding the foundation, i have really fair skin and i use the no7 new ivory as it does not make me look at all orange and is really subtle. HTH.:D

They are all still on the normal shelf showing the full price but go through at the cheaper prices. She said they are not changing the price on the shelf till after the current £5 voucher is finished!!

Does anyone know if the highlighter powder is store wide or store specific? Am hoping to pick some up in sheffield.

    Thanks in advance.
