Evening all:D I'm way behind again. I will post my mini shopping list, then go catch up:)

Today, I went to both stores on high street kensington. Not a single perkie to be wombled:confused:nine tails, did you get there before me today?;) I walked past the table where you said you'd sat down to womble a perkie. I couldn't help but LOL:D

I got 3 x Blanx whitening toothpaste on clearance, reduced to £1.20, but it scanned at 79p:T this stuff costs £6.99 usually. (Sorry I took the last 3:o ) SA said it's being repackaged, so worth looking in other stores for it. I also got 4 x party pearl drops, reduced to 74p and BOGOF:T I didn't bother making the spend up to a fiver. I don't need anymore No7 accessories:rolleyes:

Also Lolly, most hospitals run a 'Look good, Feel good' day for people who have had/going through chemotherapy. Just ask your local McMillan Nurse about it. Its a lovely day where you learn how to put make up on, have lunch, chat.... you are then given your box of make up to take home with you. I got over £150 worth, including MF, Clinique, Mac, Estee Lauder, Clarins.

Phew, this post took some tracking down ;)(Not that I don't know where to find you btw - it's just that I can't concentrate just yet on more than one thread :o;) )

Anyway, to get to the point. There was an article in a local magazine that might be a similar thing to what you've mentioned. It looks like it's aimed mainly at Hull & the East Riding, so for anyone that has been affected, or is currently affected by BC and are local to H & ER, it's here:

As I had to go to the hospital I thought I would quickly pop to a really small Mr Bs nearby (in Horley) and I am sooo glad I did!!! First of all I popped into LloydsPharm and managed to snap up some nappies at bargain price of £2.98 for 38 instead of £5.99 so snapped up 3 packets (for making up NappyCakes!!) so trundled on to Mr Bs already grinning!

Hi were they reduced the nappies? just wondering if its a nationwide thing? also what brand were they? thanks in advance

Please, someone talk me out of this! :rotfl:

A word of advice... the manufacturer coupons (@ least @ the store I used it @) do not seem to go thru @ SS tills which prompts the SS SA to come over (the SS SA did try to override this when coupon checked but still the till did not accept it... don't know if the SA didn't know how to do it or the SS system rejected it so one would have to pay for the items on a manned till...

I've been having trouble with Moc's on the SS tills too:confused: I'm sure they used to work:rolleyes: I tried a couple of times to use OK!magazines moc's, but the SS till froze each time:eek: I had to go to a manned till and they went through no probs:confused:

oooh sorry didn't realise didn't give the details - they were Huggies size3 and they were reduced from £5.99 to £2.98 (for pack of 38) - they only had 3 packs & I bought all 3 - none of their other nappies were reduced so don't know why those were!! but I'm not a complaining... :D
