I went out with 8 perkies, earned and spent another 5, so came home still with 8 perkies.

There are some samples in the photo, some of which were passed to me by some strange woman :cool:

Btw the brazil nut in the Extracts body wash smells divine. We had no luck at all using perkies on reduced items, very frustrating.


I don't need any more wipes and I thought the bags were more useful and great for gifts, or even for keeping make up in. They only cost me 2.04 after the 10% HC reduction, and they don't dry up like the wipes.

Like seeing the piccie Polls, It didn't look like you had that much in your bags:D

Well I spent £2.30:o

1 x listerine mouthwash
2 x kids toothbrushes
1 x aquafresh toothpaste
1x shrek toothpaste
1 x adult aquafresh toothbush

Couldn't even find anthing to make my purchase up to £5, but then again nothing much to use the perkies on now reduced stuff has been ruled out:o

Plus loads of nivea and atrixo samples and perfume and aftershave samples ( free )

BTW did you know the story of Benjamin Button was real..go way ! you know the story of Benjamin, in 1860. Benjamin is born with the physical appearance of a seventy-year-old man and when his father first visits him, a few hours after his birth, he already is able to speak !!! Really amazing ..just imagine ~ I know it's a true story someone told me

I am not sure if I am getting the hang of bootsing 'correctly', but have been having great fun trying!
I couldn't find any reduced toothbrushes/toothpaste, and was gutted, as with four children we always need more of that stuff, so if anyone knows anywhere in Beds/Herts that have these please let me know!!

However, when in the queue I saw some mens no 7 black wash bags with mini bits and bobs in, possibly an old GWP. It scanned at £6.40, and the lovely SA tried my purplie, and it worked :j Was very pleased and so got another one for the xmas bargains box under my bed. Hope that helps someone out.

Firstly, a big thanks to whoever (i did thank you at the time but the name escapes me now!) posted that the Hamilton stores had the Extracts minis-managed to get a few in both stores-so thanks (again )
Wont post all my shops individually but got Extracts (300 pints) and Calpol (100 points) plus other bits and bobs, always seeming to get nearly as many points as i was spending and earning another perkie! (Used 5 of these today for the buffers and compacts ) So all in all, really pleased..

As previously posted huge dental reductions in all stores, some better stocked than others. Will sum up each store for any weekending local Bootsers!

Hamilton (Precinct)
Had Extracts Minis and Lipbalms, quite well stocked dental shelves and a few perfume sets by the tills reduced (e.g.Lancome gift set 4 minis-3 ladies, 1 mens for £10)

Hamilton (Retail Park)
Again full Extracts range, very full clearance shelf (lots of No7-no perkies could be used ) including No 7 make up brushes for £1.50-£3.00, No7 Stay Perfect £7, No7 Instant Radiance Lotion £5.35, Roc micro sets (the one with the body exfoliaor) for £10 -know some people have had an AC for these for £5 off but dont know if it would work Also had rows of Sanctuary Perfume (cant find on .com but thats what it looked like and was stickered "new") there, which most had a price on of £6 on but a few at the front had £4.80, so these might be getting further reduced and should work with GWP if enough spent i guess.

Belshill (Postage Stamp Store!)

Still have the clearance shelf of Extracts full size body butters and Botanics hand creams for £1.33 and 46p (after 1/3 off) respectively. Also noticed they had shelfs of the Christmas Gold Bag No7 GWP and a lilac and purple plasticy looking No7 bag (presuming this is also an old GWP) both for £6.50.. SA said no perkies to be used but didnt try it.

Not really anything else new to report, botanics face things for £1.84 and Dead Sea Salts etc for £1.96 dotted around the stores..If anyones going and has any specific enquires, ill do my best to answer.
Like everyone else, really disappointed that the perkies dont work on reduced No7 anymore, lovely SA i spoke to today said that Boots Head Office had came down hard on all store managers and told them def not to accept them
Just going to use the rest of mine on the compacts (have enough nail buffers ) and will check out the gloves someone mentioned eariler..
Off to catch up on other posts now and hth someone...xxx

Can i use a perkie on the artists collection??

Will i get a gwp with each one ie will the till recognise the price before reduction

If so do i need to buy them seperately or can scan more than one gwp per recognised £18.

Any gwp worth scanning at the same time??

I was at the Broadmead too in the evening.Agree with you, I came out empty handed :eek: Not even reduced toothpaste there :rolleyes:

So it finally looks like 'perkies' cannot be used on any reduced items.:(
This means there is little incentive for us to make up our spend to £5 in order to get them.

We have had a decent run of great deals recently though.:)
Such as the P&P Body Serum for £7.25 with No7 gwp.
Then the same item for £2.25 with the P&P and perkie combo.
Also the P&P Handcream and Lipcare foc with a voucher combo
Both of these also allowed us to use the 250 points voucher from the gwp.

Then there was the gwp with half priced electricals and blinkie/P&P £5 off combo.
The various on line 'special' deals like the gwp offers,
S&G Admit It You Want Me offer, Sanctuary offer,
No7 Mens and Ladies gwp offers, etc, etc.
S&G Minis for 20p, HE for 37p plus 100 points,
Olay gwps, Putting sets, and the few other gwp offers that are still around.;)

So we have all had a chance to try our luck.
It is a shame about not being able to use the perkies on reduced bargains...
But maybe it is doing us a favour...We all have tons of No7 and are getting a little bored with it...
So when the next great deal/ glitch comes along...
We should all have a little bit more spare cash to spend on them.:D

Hi babes - got some of these on the last No7 voucher but I looked at accessories today and they didn't have the gloves there. Are they still with the No7 brushes and buffer sets??? No mirrors either just the overpriced brushes and tweezers!! Last time I got them reduced to silly prices and on 3 for 2 and used the No7 vouchers!!!!:T

Hi Grumbly, not sure where in Beds/Herts you are but Watford Waterfields had reduced toothpaste today adults and children - no toothbrushes left though

Went to Trafford Centre this afternoon - definitely a waste of petrol!

A few odds & ends on the clearance shelves, all random stuff apart from some No 7 (Ultimate Face & Body Brush £5, Nail File & Buffer sets £2.**, Mini Brush Set £3.**, Sponges £1.**, No Grains Exfoliator at £4.**) so I grabbed a few of these, mainly the accessories, & headed off to the SS tills. First mistake!! They wouldn't scan so SA came straight over, then informed me that I couldn't used a perkie on any of them, because they are reduced & pointed out the T&C on the back, so I left them. Got 4 packs of glittery "Ms Manicure" 3 packs of nail files at 25p per pack but nothing else worth buying.

Oh, they had 3 full shelves of the No 7 Artist Pallet-y things on the ground floor, near the SS tills!! All full of products, with signs up for 75% off. As I knew I couldn't use a Perkie & couldn't justify any more makeup, I managed to resist.

Went upstairs & had a mooch around the No 7 & Ruby & Millie, but nothing in the cosmetics caught my eye. Did see the File & Buffer Compact & Mini Brush sets at full price, so bought one of each with a Perkie, so only £2.83 to pay. Not such a good buy as would've been with the clearance prices, though.

There were a couple of Definity GWP & a display stand of Vichy Travel Sets, but had a sign on them saying you must complete a survey to get one, so didn't have the nerve to try!! And the ACM had a couple of new offers but nothing I needed & can't remember what they were now, sorry!

I'd got 4 Perkies burning a hole in my pocket but only spent 2 of them. I'm gonna hold onto the last two, incase something amazing comes up. Twice in 2 days I've been refused the use of a Perkie, so it seems that the message has been circulated to all SA's in the Manchester area. Certainly haven't come back with the same "glow" as yesterday!

Think I might have to do the Fort again, to see if their clearance has been re-stocked. If anyone has done Crown Point or Stockport over the last couple of days, can they please let me know if its worth a trip? TIA
