Hi all
I went for a little Boots expedition today. I am feeling lethargic too. Anyway the very nice sa said to me "you know your vouchers don't you" I felt quite pleased.
Managed to get another 2 always vouchers handy with a teenager. Got some mango bodywash for my christmas stash with the 2 coupons. I coudn't see any minis and the lip balm didn't really look that good a bargain. Very small. I did get some toothbrushes and floss reduced. Thanks for whoever told us about that one to look out for. I kept picking up the definity wash and putting it down again. I left it as I didn't have the bottle.
Just for info the Lynx double set doesn't work on the 2 for £4 this time.
I couldn't see anything free or nearly to spend my perkie on so got make up wipes. My dd is in a show this week and they are really good for getting all the orange gunk off.Anyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

Well here is the Peterborough store update
that was it ! No clearance stand no reduced SEL. I really hate this shop !
Off topic
can I just say how refreshing it has been during the last two weeks to see everyone being friendly and polite on here0 -
Also tried to use my No7 voucher and they won't let you use for anything on the reduced stand. No signs are up but the No 7 SA who is very nice said it's on the back of the voucher. Don't think I will be using mine as I have no money to be adding to it for things I don't really need!! These vouchers have got to be the worst we have had.
Angie baby, get a pack of No7 Moisture Gloves (or whatever they are called), they have an SEL of £4.89 or something. If you have an SS till, take it there, and use the PURPLE and it works. Did it twice today with an SA watching over me, worked fine. I guess it also works for other No7 items such as Nail Buffer things and what not. You might as well use the PURPLE thing up if you have one, no point in it going to waste. HTH.0 -
Hi Everyone,
Went bootsing today.
Glad I kept my couple of extracts acm vouchers off last week, cos this week there were mini's to be had, unlike last week  well .. better late than never lol .. bought 2 mini's + 1 lipbalm.
also bought ..
Aquafresh extreme clean 100ml = clearance 50p each ( 50ml was £1.49  :rotfl: )
NO7 wipes with perkie = £1.40.
Kids colgate ( shrek ) 6yrs + toothpaste = clearance 32p each.
Kandoo pampers toilet wipes ( 2 + 1 free = 3 pack ) was £3.42 but the sign said 1/3rd off all kandoo, but didn't come off, so till got over-rode 3 times :j = £2.28 each 3 pack.
2 for £8 hairdye.
I also showed a lady that had a young child in a pushchair .. the clearance lil toothbrushes age 0-2yrs, so she picked 1 up to buy.. = 47p ishshe was pleased :j
I just spoke to my brother, to see if there was anything I missed out on my list, cos I had sooo many bags from boots + as*a that I left one other at my mams .. he said, boots mag + an empty wispa wrapper :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
so that was my lil shop today, so neeeed a rest from Boots for a bit, cos I don't need nothing else ... but I still got 2 perkies to use up lol :rotfl:

I use p20 on my children all the time, you just have to be very careful that you make sure you coat ALL exposed skin. I can vouch from personal experience that if you miss a bit it will burn and as you are not reapplying it during the day it wll be a bad burn:o .
I'm just back from boots and gutted.. no perkies on clearance... whats that all about
Just a little advice in the event of sunburn:
You might find this wierd but this how my family has dealt with sunburn for many many years. You put cold water with plenty of ice cubes and vinegar. Use a cloth that you damp inside the water with vinegar and apply to the skin. Do this repeatedly until skin feels more confortable. My own kids know how to do it and they organise themselves if it happens. We try not to but I often to visit my family in Spain and it might happens when they are out for hours playing with their cousins.
The only snap is that you will smell like a salad:rotfl:0 -
Stacks of the artists palettes available at £17.xx, also the St Tropez gift sets at £11.xx - for anyone wanting these. there should be plenty left tomorrow.
Loads of reduced tights - body shaping and bums and tums tights - 2 pairs for £2.50 . They are 342 and used the ACM 100 pointer - so 6 pairs high quality tights for £4 in Mr B's logic.
NC gift sets down to £4.xx, Stay perfect liquid marked at £7 and some odds and sods on the clearance counter but nothing of great interest. Plenty of MF GWPs.
Hopefully will be in Leicester tomorrow - anything I should look out for there?0 -
I'd opt for the No7 accessories if you have a decently stocked store. You'd only pay approximately £1 ish for things like compact mirrors, nail buffers (old packaged ones are under £5), gloves, muslin cloths, headbands etc. For No7 nail varnishes and cuticle cream etc, you'd spend less than £1.50 with the £5 off voucher too. Can't say too many people have mentioned electricals, so I guess that's a no

hiya passion8:) A few peeps have mentioned the muslin cloths, But I've never seen themAnyone got a pic? TIA:D

Here are the results of my group MSE shopping expedition today. I find it easier to take a photo to show what I bought.
5 x No 7 make up bags
1 x No 7 brush bag
3 x Paracetamol (to make the total up to £5)
5 x Extracts Body wash
5 x Tubes Aquafresh toothpaste
4 x Tubes Childrens tooth brushes
2 x Childrens toothpaste
2 x Botanics Facial Pamper sets.
1 x NC Neck cushion
2 x Med Body wash
Total price..... £78.77
Total spent.... £35.93
total saved.....£42.84
Pts earned......1430 ( from using ACM & mag vouchers for Extracts)
Saving include, instore price reductions, 10% HC discount and money saved from Perkies.
I went out with 8 perkies, earned and spent another 6, so came home still with 8 perkies.
:j :j :j :j :j :j :j
There are some samples in the photo, some of which were passed to me by some strange woman
Btw the brazil nut in the Extracts body wash smells divine. We had no luck at all using perkies on reduced items, very frustrating.
I don't need any more wipes and I thought the bags were more useful and great for gifts, or even for keeping make up in. They only cost me 2.04 after the 10% HC reduction, and they don't dry up like the wipes.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Does anyone know if Boots still do their own 'Spa' range? It was turquoise and had bubble bath, exfoliators and xmas gift packs. Was lovely. TIA0
