On a different note - Does anybody else have trouble with the health club discounts? I am definitley registered (it says so on the machine and CS says so too) but it never takes the discount off at the till - SA was quite snippy with me today (and told me he wouldn't go upstairs and check the SEL) - the product was definitely supposed to go through discounted too, but it just wouldn't - so I just left it as it was lunchtime and didn't want to cause a
    scene :(

A number of us have had problems periodically. The AC machine was de-activating peoples HC last year. In my case, I rang CS, and they told me that the tills have a code that can be keyed in to re-activate the HC.

Some of the SA didn't even know they had this facility until I told them, so its worth asking them to re-activate it for you. If they don't know the code, they can ring CS and they will give it to them. Hth

Oh he is naughty, I wish he worked in my shop I would love to wind him up. :p You should have asked him to demonstrate it. Can men use it too.

Are you going dancing again soon, you could keep the party feet for yourself?;)

No idea if men can use them too Polls - I'm not even sure if women can ;):D As for demonstrating it - who could he have demonstrated it on?

No dancing for me either lol, but I need all the Scholl help I can get traipsing round those Boots [strike] clearance shelves [/strike] stores ;)

    You'd love him btw :)

Just been to chelmsley wood not a lot on clearance but they had heated mattress covers red to £12 odd, looked on the website the price is £36.70 but that`s with 25% off selected sleeping aid`s, wonder if you would get 25% off instore too??
    [snipped ...]

Not sure about the 25% off, but there's sometimes a 1,000 points voucher knocking about, so might be worth looking out for :) hth

My DD went off to one of her friends for tea after school, so I nipped off to Boots (where else  ?).

Found some Sanctuary minis, quite chuffed about those, 55p down from £2.20. The Sento body wash minis were the same reduced price, but none on the shelves.

Still lots of L'Oreal white bag, purple Olay, Vichy travel kits, and S&G bags dotted around.
And - a single solitary Admit it You Want Me :T . Another item I've never seen on the shelves around here since the start of the year, and with one third off S&G, I just had to have it. Its soooo pretty, I don't think I'll be able to make myself open it, never mind use the contents.

    Sooooooooo pretty :rotfl: :D

I was curious when some of the premium cosmetics have bonus gifts so did a little Googling. Here is what I found, and if anyone has details on what a certain gwp will be or on others coming up, please share!

Clinique - Boots bonus time - 16 March to 4 April (anyone have a description of the gift??)

    Elizabeth Arden - ???

Clarins - Online you currently get a "Travel Treats" gift when you order two items, but there's no pic. Don't know if this is in-store, too. It is described as:
    • Extra-Firming Day Cream 15ml
    • Extra Firming Night Cream 15ml
    • Extra-Firming Body Care 30ml
    • Wonder Length Mascara 1.5ml
    • Green Mini Travel Bag with matching luggage tag
Lancome: Online you currently get two gwps when you buy two select items (seems like most of the range) - a nice looking giftset and a bronzer and brush gift.

Estee Lauder - Checked the official site here and didn't see anything listed for Boots.
