I have no idea what they look like either - but I want one!

I'm guessing they'll be in the food section (in my local store, right by the end of the tills where I loiter "looking for sommat" but sorting my coupons etc;) )

Here's a photo of my 'cute little lunch bag'.

I picked up a H&B mag, and a bath pillow for DD (a little thing to put away as one of her birthday surprises). Wandered over to the skincare section - and nearly dropped my basket with excitement. GWPs all over the place - racks and shelves and stands of them :T !!!!!
which shop was it, Balletshoes? TIA

    Quick google to explain soapmaking:

"The type of soap Grandma made is called “Cold Process” soap (commonly referred to as “CP” soap). It is made by combining fatty acids and sodium hydroxide (lye) together. Fatty acids can be almost any oil – from beef tallow to olive oil to hemp oil."

Could be the reason why?

Lovely!! Dont think my vegetarian DD will appreciate her clothes being washed in that. So off to Tesco to ask for a refund and and apology.

My OH has to pick up his uncle from Bristol Eye Hospital tommorow and is taking me for a bit of Bootsing. Am hoping to get one of the lunch bags ( Lovely) and some Vichy gift sets. Any idea of any of these available in Broadmead?

Didn't go up to the big city yesterday, so went Bootsing fairly locally.

Got off to a bad start when the SA - very apologetically - told me I couldn't use the perkies on the reduced Stay Perfect foundations. She started reading the T&Cs on the back - still apologetically, and sounding almost terrified. So I followed CPG's advice in the first post of the thread, and accepted it graciously.

"What a shame!" I said, in a disappointed tone of voice. "Well, I won't manage to buy all of these then" - in an even more disappointed, and slightly embarrassed, tone of voice, as I put back four foundations.

Now, I don't know whether the SA felt sorry for me; felt guilty about saying 'no' to the foundations; or had only been briefed about 'no foundations with perkies!' (because she had quite clearly been briefed about it - that came across in the way she reacted to the sight of the perkies lying bside the foundations! :rotfl: ).

The outcome for me was a very helpful SA, dealing with multiple transactions, which included:

    - 2 x extracts body butters @ 4.89, using ACM voucher and magazine voucher both times. Plus a packet of Boots tissues to make the purchase up to 5.00+ each time - getting two more perkies.

    - 2 x Olay GWP - one purchased with the Definity illuminating cream cleanser; the other purchased with the pore refining scrub thingie. Two more perkies.

    - 2 x No7 make-up purses with blusher brush and compact mirror. 6.50 minus perkie, so 1.50 each. Didn't make it up to 5.00 per shop because I can't think that fast :o

I might go back and see if I can get a couple more of those little purses because they'd be perfect to stockpile for birthday presents for DD's age group - especially once I start stockpiling some no 17 make up to go in them!

Had a bit of a twilight zone moment however when I toook out the compact mirror. On the magnifying side (one look into that, and I wished I'd bought TWO of the pore refining scrub thingies!! :o ) it said:

"WARNING. Danger of fire if placed in direct sunlight"

I had visions of Mr B reading this thread over the past couple of days, realising that he was selling safety hazards, and instructing his staff to go and put this safety message on all the mirrors on sale! :rotfl:
  • Hi Everyone :hello:

havn't posted for much of the week as my shops have been boring and fruitless, but a couple of questions for you helpfull girls and guys, has anyone printed more than three of the extracts points voucher from the ACM? or can we assume that Mr B has pulled these

Also Mum has a temp card at the mo, I know she can collect points with this but is she able to spend them form this card or will she have to wait for permenant card to arrive.

    TIA
