Dunelm mill if you have one near you - they have some really nice ones. I got a white one with lilac gingham lining for £1.99.

Can't think where else as this is where I go first off!!!

Just realised I have been thanked over 1,000 times - so thank you in return!!! Sad I know but I was well chuffed!!

    Hi

If you have a look at this thread, there are loads of tips and ideas for hampers, and it's very inspirational... I've previously got some lovely baskets and boxes from Dunelm.
There's also another thread where people post the pictures of their completed hampers...here

    Hope this helps xx

I've got my baskets from Matalan- they have a decent range of wicker ones in the home section, and if you get a nice wicker basket then I think that is part of the present as they can use the basket afterwards :)
It may be worth looking in Debenhams or Next/ Next clearance, as I have found wicker bins in them both before that have made great containers for hampers. Wilkinsons is also worth a look if you can get to Cowley centre.

May also be worth having a look here, as they have some reasonably priced baskets.
There is a thread on the special occasions board with lots of pics of finished hampers- you may find it useful to get some inspiration :)

I agree with jamsandwich, Dunelm have some lovely baskets and they are very reasonably priced as well :D . I am doing my DD an all pink hamper for her 21st Birthday and got a wicker laundry basket lined with a pink and white polka dot cotton liner for just £4.99.

    Hiya ANGEL50 and all
I have a collection of the bits and pieces that come in the GWP's. I usually start by removing everything then use the bags or boxes as containers and personalise the contents.
It's the guys that always have me stumped, a collection of the minis from the No7 GWP's go in but then I never really know what else to put in. Nail files and buffers are nice for them too as long as they don't look too girly, I do like a man with well manicured hands :rotfl:

Thanks for this geordie_lass, its good to see how other people do their hampers etc.:T :T

When I was a child (long ago) there was a saying, we kids used, it was:-

'Shut up and comb your face'

It springs to mind every time I see your avatar, ;)
