You might like to thank henge who alerted you to this in post # 6 above!

Sorry, but I will thank whom I want. I cetainly don't need you, or anyone else, telling me what to do. Cheek of it!

Furthermore, he didn't alert me to it at all! As I said in my post, I went to Quidco off my own back and actually came here to pass on the news that the cashback was now £70. I didn't read his, or anyone elses, post on the matter. I was unaware that people already knew. (My bad.)

If you've nothing better to do than monitor people's use of this forum, why don't you search it and see how many people I have thanked.

No need for all the aggression.

    My comment was light hearted.

But look again at your post (#5) asking for help over Quidco cashback, which henge gave you in the next post (#6)!

OK, I'm sorry. Sometimes my perception of posts/posters on this forum can be less than favourable. You hit a nerve and I reacted. I apologise if I caused any offence.

I am pleased someone took the time to add to this thread, informing people that the cashback has gone up to £70. My point was that I hadn't acted based on that post. If I had, then I would have immediately thanked them. (Despite the fact I think the 'thanking system' is pretty much useless. It's abused by far too many people, thanking totally useless posts, maybe because they regard the poster as a friend, to be of any use. I place little significance in it, but when I do use it, I try to be objective.)

    Apology accepted.

You are right about the thanking system - though genuine "thanks" are easy to separate from the abusers thanking their mates etc - which presumably happens when you do issue the thanks to people you tell us you do!

Henge's post clearly answered yours and whilst intended to directly help you was of use to others as well!

I will now issue thanks to henge, and wonder if you will reconsider?

I managed to sign up using my wifes mobile number, its her work blackberry which must be on O2 because it says we get the discount, only to discover the cashback go up to £70 and free month added to offer two hours later!!

anyway rang up O2 other day to complain, regular guy said he couldnt do anything, asked for cancellations before I could say anything to her she said I can put the free month on for you

    slight result
