O2 aaaaaaah!

I am trying to sign up with O2 home broadband thru quidco tonight.

when I go throught the sign up process it asks for a mobile number.

I dont have an active mobile number with them, and it isnt giving me an option to tick that I havent got one, it just keeps sending me round in circles.

their customer services is not open

I do have a pay as you go sim which I will not be able to activate for a couple of days and the increased quidco cashback finishes tonight i believe.

what am I doing wrong?

    nope

if I do that it assumes I already have an O2 online account and asks me to login to it!

    :(

Has anyone been monitoring the cashback for O2? Does it increase, like it did here, often?

I'm hoping to sign up in a week or so, but would obviously rather get £50 than £25. ;)

You're lucky, the Quidco cashback is back and it's £70 this time (and a month free).

Always worth keeping a couple of O2 SIMs in the drawer just in case http://freesim.o2.co.uk/

I don't know about Quidco, but you have to enter a mobile number if signing up via the O2 website as well.

This number does not need to be from an O2 account - I used my T-Mobile number to sign up.

However, if you use a non-O2 number you of course won't get the £5 (or rather £4.89) per month off the subscription price.

So assuming you are prepared to pay the higher fee per month just put in your current mobile number.

can you sign up through quidco to 02 broadband if you are an existing 02 customer?

Yes. There is a field to input your existing o2 mobile number and receive the discount for o2 customers from the start of the broadband.

Openreach are in my house at the moment installing a phone line, so I thought I'd check out Quidco/O2 again. The cashback has gone up to £70! :j

O2's system now recognises my phone number so I've ordered. One month free too. :money:
