Isn't the word "earn" a swear word to these muppets? Or something we do, in order to pay their salaries - sorry, their slave proceeds!

Nice idea, we could have had a referendum whilst the banking system collapsed around us.

Referendum??? No way. Remember New Labour have broken their promise to the British people to have a referendum vote on EU Lisbon Treaty??!!

They are traitors to this country so bring on the revolution.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse.
The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, but wiser people so full of doubts.

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

Not that I am aware of, last time I checked I was in Great Brittan, not that I am a nationalist of course. ;)

I don't want to get drawn into this debate however I'm not sure some of the colourful language is a good idea. I agree the bankers have caused all of this; however I also think it is a two way street. If individuals didn't get drawn into the credit lifestyle in the first place, the bankers wouldn't have been able to cause as many problems. I'm not on one side of this debate or the other.

Also, I'm not having a go at people that have unexpected circumstances and get into debt, or people that are trying to support their businesses; I'm referring to those that have enjoyed the finer material things in life and forget that they have to pay things back.

anyway, good to see you're getting stuck into MSE Hackneygirl - keep posting

In reference to RBS, and HBOS it is TOTALLY unacceptable for those FAT CATS who are incompetence and failed BIG TIME to take millions of taxpayers money to spend on their retirement. How can that be right? There are people who have lost their jobs, AND pensions because they made mistakes in real life every day. Where are the record profits they had over a decade? I would have thought they save a percentage of the profit they make each year put away for a raining day. I don't have much faith with British justice system (which over the years have become a joke) because we all know that FAT CATS will get away with it with OUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!!!

    Ok, Ok!

Did you see the paper today: The public will be fined or imprisoned for each loss of the new ID cards due out this year. The MOD lost over 11,000 in the last month but none of them have been done!

Man, what a great country to live in....

So you're not a nationalist? Not like all the banks are
