Yesterday went to Tescos, Lidl & Aldi ended up spending less than I planned because lots of things were out of stock  will probably end up going to Asda to see if I can get things there instead. We were planning to stock up from the butchers this weekend but we don't think their is enough room in the freezers to make this worth while. This week and next I have increased our fruit box order to see if will prevent me having to go out and buy more fruit, which leads to the temptation to spend on unnecessary things like doughnuts. Total spoends so far this month £90.07, with a futher £33 committed for F&V box, we have enough milk in the freezer and bread flour for the next few months. I plan today or tommorrow to go through the cupboards/freezers/fridge to see how many meals we can plan or make ahead to keep Marches spends down as much as possible. This will be a challange as I find meal planning extremly difficult, I don't even know whyFashion on a ration 2025 0/66 coupons spent
79.5 coupons rolled over 4/75.5 coupons spent - using for secondhand purchases

Good morning. I am just back from the gym. I am going to Lidl's this afternoon to buy some bits & pieces. One of the boys made peanut butter cookies last night so we are well stocked up for the sleepover tonight. Making a pasta dish and some fish for the boys tonight. Tomorrow night will be HM pizzas. It gives me a chance to try out the pizza function on my cooker.GC 2011 Feb £626.89/£450 NSD3/7 March £531.26/£450 April £495.99/£500 NSD 0/7 May £502.79/£500

Hello,
Doing good so far this week. Yesterday was a NSD and today we've no need for any groceries. We're stocked up on everything until mon/tues I think, at which point we'll need milk and a few veggies/fruit. Our month ends on the 24th so 11 days to go and I think we're going to make it on budget! If we do, it'll be the first time in several months! :jDebt at highest 01/01/2008- $79,385.32

How kind of you to share, thank you!
Does the "W" mean weekly? I love it, you're super-organised. If you don't mind I might try to plagiarise (sp) part of it.Grocery Challenge M: £450/£425.08 A: £400/£.May -£400/£361 June £380/£230 (pages 18 & 27 explain)0 -

Glad you like itI find spreadsheets are the only way I can keep tabs on things, and the intention is to start using it as a basis for my 'stock take' by also marking off when I use something

Do you know what I would love? Just once? It would be to hear exactly what you all spend your money on.
Hi fletch3163 - although I don't list on here everything that I buy on each shopping trip, I do post on here what we are having for Dinner on a daily basis so that those looking in can see that although we may be on a Budget we are still eating healthily and also it's nice to post meals so that others may get new ideas and we can swap Recipes for new meals to try. I've been cooking from scratch for years but I've picked up loads of new recipes on here.;)
cw18 - that Spreadsheet is really impressive, may have to think about doing something similiar so that I can see exactly what our money is being spent on.
Been busy in the Kitchen this morning, got friends coming over for Dinner tomorrow night so wanted to get ahead, have made Carrot & Coriander Soup and Soda Bread so far. Shall make everything else tomorrow morning.;)
Dinner tonight is HM Spag Bol with Garlic dough balls and a large bowl of Salad.:D
Have a good day everyone.;)"WASTE NOT, WANT NOT!"GC for OH, myself, DD18 & DD16 includes Toiletries, cleaning stuff & Food.
