  • Hello all,

Feeling hopeful that we will stay within budget this month! Got a tesco order two days ago and the cupboards are now very full! No freezer unfortunately so can't store anything for very long. Our nearest store is M&S  so trying to avoid going there for anything other than milk when absolutely needed.
We have a meal plan (ish) and tesco vouchers to eat out if we really need a break from home cooked food. :D

Hang in there procrastinator, you can do it! Big HUG for you!

Morning all! Just back from shops and DE- LIGHT - ED! Got a load from Lidl then onto Asda for a couple of things Lidl didnt have, however, I was going to the Chemist/Post Office in Asda anyway so didnt waste fuel!
I am well on target for March - my month ends on the 19th, and cupboards and freezer well stocked. My spend also includes a massive soap powder which will last us for months and Plenty kitchen roll ( 8 for 3.87 at Lidl) so am well chuffed!
Got my first bottle of Stardrops in Asda, so Im off to do a bit of cleaning very excited - Im a saddo, I know!
    Have a great day all!
Procrastinator: hugs, and hang on in there! We're all here to support each other, keep posting and just do what works for you!

:j I've just finished a wholes months meal plan :j *runs around laughing* and shall go to Mr A tonight to get the majority of the shopping.

Can you put me down for £180 this month please?

This is just for two of us which I know is still more than it could be :o This month I'm fully back on the Weight Watchers plan and have chosen a fair few new receipes to try.

Also going to get majority of meat, apart from turkey steaks and bacon, from the local butchers.
Currently studying for a Diploma - wish me luck :)

    Morning all!
    4 NSDs in a row!
I'm hoping to hold out until Saturday for grocery shopping and then do the weekly shop in Mr Ts with a little foray into Farm Foods.

I've started next week's meal plan with a view to using things that we have in and just buying essentials but am struggling to think of something different to have to eat using the ingredients we have - perhaps I'll ask for some help if inspiration doesn't strike soon!

With the forthcoming wedding and the need to save and slim (perhaps we should start a new WW/SW rival group!:rotfl: ) the budget is even more important than ever.

Oh well, we'll see how I get on......

Please put me down for £400.00 this month Mrs M, a little bit higher but I am cheesed off with going over budget every month so thought I would give myself a bit of a break.

I nipped to Sainsburys on my lubch break. Picked up some bits and pieces. I had to buy a birthday cake for DS 12 which is annoying. But my oven is too unpredictable for baking.

Can I be put down for £70 this month please.

Been so good so far and only spent £7 at MR S, which include toilet rolls, new baking tray etc. Hopefully wont need to buy anymore food till payday which is the 20th March. Hoping to keep it really down this month.
