Barnabysue! What is that book you recommended? I had it in my mind all week, went to Tesco last night, went to the books section and my mind went blank and the title hasn't returned! :rotfl:

It was called 'The Difference A Day Makes' by Carole Matthews.

Well I ran. But because I'm rubbish and have no willpower at all I only went once around the block, so only 3 miles. Now I'm sat here in tears. If I had just carried on. I'd talked myself out of doing the full distance within the first 10 mins running. Totally rubbish. How can I expect to do anything well if I can't persuade myself to keep running?! Off for a shower.

Just think what you have ran recently and dont beat yourself up about it xx
Just back into comping past few months to help me get over rubbish in life.... won Hotpoint fridge freezer, soda stream
  • No it wasn't that, like essexgal said eBay are a law onto themselves though so I'm trying not to worry about it.
Prob'ly the best idea! I quite often report people for fee avoidance - esp for low priced items. I'm always really careful with the item number, but maybe not everyone is! So perhaps someone meant to report a completely different item, & put your number by mistake

Thanks sfh, flick and wokkies. I just feel like it's my head stopping me, not my fitness. It's only two weeks away now and I really want to do it in a hour. Don't know why I even set myself the challenge - no-one challenged me it's my own doing. Feel a bit better after my shower but still rubbish for not taking the opportunity to run the full 10k today. Thanks guys. x

    Woks, this is hilarious.

    Morning all,

Had a horrible morning!I hope you are not already fed up with my nagging re moving but I am totally   after I spoke to my current landlord and gave my notice in, the other landlord says he can't keep the flat for 4 more weeks even with putting down the deposit   Not only is this unfair on my current landlord who has been great to us all the way but also we will lose the deposit we paid here (which we agreed would be used to pay for this month). I don't like this!!! I don't even have the chance to cancel my landline and activate the new one..loads to pack!! So basically it is so hard to move straight away. On top of all that, OH is grumpy because I woke him up sooo early :( he works very hard during the week and this is the only chance he has to relax so I am feeling terribly guilty but bought him his cigarettes to say sorry  But what could I have done  needed to decide and I want his voice to be heard :D ...Now we left it to see !!

PMS, you know, I never use ebay at all. In my honest opinion, it is not worth the stress involved but you should not be put off using it if you need to. What I would do if I were you is write to a manager. This reads like a default letter and does not contain enough information. It is your right to understand why things went wrong! How annoying!!!!

Cathy, hope you feel better in the course of the day x

Hope everyone is fine and enjoying the remaining (always short-lived  )freedom .

    Please explain somebody

I was trying to create a new folder in gmail titled WEM so all my WEM's can go straight there and I can also create a filter with words such as 'congratulations', 'winner' etc going straight into the WEM folder. I couldn't figure out how to do this so googled and found the below.

In layman's language, what are these labels and is it worth setting it up? How/Where do you save your WEMs? :D

How can I create a new folder in Gmail?
In Gmail, you can't create new folders. Instead you create labels, which you then attach to individual conversations. The good thing about labels is that multiple labels can be tagged on a mail, something just not possible with the folder concept of Hotmail and others. The labels are shown at the left side; attach them by using the combo box on top. You can also create filters to automatically label incoming mail.

How do I sort my Gmail?
Instead of folders, Gmail features labels. Gmails can thus be put into different categories at one. E.g. you could have a label "job", a label "blog feedback", or a label "girlfriend".

Tis more or less as it says really - I assume you read your emails online rather than send them to Outlook? You can set up a filter by clicking on settings and filters, then set it to apply to everything with winner or congratulations in the title - they're still in your inbox though, so I don't bother - I just manually apply a 'wins' label to any wems then click archive. It disappears from your inbox and on the control panel at the left you'll get a labels section and can view all wins or all orders - whatever labels you set up. I like it better than folders :)

I use labels in google mail matryoshka, they are easy once you get the hang of them. They are a bit like folders really too. I have a filter set up so all my MSE emails go out of my inbox and are labelled "MSE". You can assign colours to labels too to make them stand out in your inbox if you don't use filters.
