It's been sleeting here so glad we didn't go out in the end, following PP's lead I'm listing some bits on eBay/Amazon to raise some cash.

hugs to everyone that needs them..personally I feel that I could do with a drink, but its only 2..

on the subject of selling prizes, I personally think its wrong..I only started comping last July, but I only enter for things I want/would be useful for someone I know..as such I've only ever one one thing that was no use (was golf tickets, but because they came through the post when I was on holiday, it was too short notice for my brother to take time off work, even though the Belfry is just up the road)..I put them on here for free, and sent them to the first person to pm me (it really annoyed me that she didn't even say thank you though)..everything else we've had a use for and loved...have won a duplicate Dvd, which I gave to a friend for her daughter..

I can understand why some people may sell things, but personally I couldn't..also think it is lovely reading the I won I won board when people get something they really want - I would feel so guilty winning a prize I'm not bothered about, when someone else would love it..

Had to go out looking for fireplaces and fires this morning, well the £1000 oh had budgeted has gone straight out of the window, the 1st place is £1250 all in, well we went to a local place next and it was nearly double that, she kept querying the prices we were quoted, and 3rd place is getting back to oh tomorrow with prices, it is a very competitive market out there at the moment. So I have to decide? I will try and find some pics to get some feedback, its hard as I need to decide but it i something that I need to live with for a long time!!!!
Next he is hassling me over colour, I think I want the 2 long walls egyptian white and the 2 small walls (window and fireplace wall) terracotta.

Toni - Glad the lappy's getting sorted. Techi guys are brill and helped me out several times - true lifesavers imo.

I'm thinking of going back to work tomorrow. Feeling a bit down and still suffering from anxiety but got to get back at some point. OH officially unempolyed now and off to job centre tomorrow.

Braved tiny drops of rain OH in work and I really feel sorry for him thinking about going to the shops after a whole day's work so tried to be good! It is refreshing though for an hour or so ...

So Toni, [strike]you might feel better if you do some gardening ...[/strike]. hmmm I can understand your OH being impatient re cutting on smoking , it IS hard and I am having a hard time convincing mine that he HAS to smoke less...I sound like a broken record...so this is really a good step on his part. BUT you washing the car in the cold :eek: (he must be looking for an excuse to talk to you )
