  • Thanks Splodz. It will. I will now ONLY share with adults, eg professionals, but am trying to get smewhere alone. I'll be negotiating with the landlord on rent too because I am a great tenant; clean, tidy and practical; I like gardening and I don't smoke or eat stinky food, or damage stuff. I am determined to never go through this s*** again; I'm too old!!

:T Well done Toni for sorting out your lappy, honestly, a dying/faulty pc is the most annoying thing that can happen to anyone...mine is like my closest friend and I feel lonely without it :o

Tulip, don't worry hun, you are very wise. I have to confess, sometimes, I wish I (or OH) had no jobs (mine is only part-time) because it honestly works out more expensive for OH. Also, this uncertainty about tomorrow and the fear of constantly changing circumstances.... so totally understand x
  • With the beauty guild comps do you have to work in the industry as it asks for job position?

I put housewife, I do a lot of charity work & voluntary work but as it's for various places along with the courses I'm doing it's easier to put housewife.
2025 - finally back comping after a stressful house move - send me fairy dust please
  • Just reading back, CG and others who donate their unwanted prizes to Pinkwishes....well done!! X

Getting quite excited now. BF is in the shower - stop it! That's not why I'm excited!!

But we'll have lunch once he's out & then we'll be nipping over to Lakeside to grab a couple of cinema tickets (for the Watchman I think he said he wanted to see), then we'll pop to a couple of shops to look at laptops. My current one is over 8 years old, noisy fan, cracked screen & quite heavy & slow. So we'll use this time to look for one I like then come back here after the pictures & see how cheaply we can get it online, then see if I can get more back by using a Cashback site :rotfl:

So soon I should have a shiny new laptop :j

BF has kept me pretty up straight with the comps for the last week, but I have a couple of hundred I need to look through, so will do that while I'm waiting for him :)

Hope everyone is having a great day!
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out

OH just got back from town - soaked through! Apparently it's just started raining - I didn't notice! I told him it was lovely out and he only took his light jacket. Ooops. He's brought in stuff to make a stir fry for dinner - all prepared which is cheating but I don't care it's Sunday!
Life is all about the journey.
  • I got some meditteran tomato sauce stuff from Home Bargains other day, same as this http://www.tesco.com/superstore/xpi/0/xpi62873640.htm only tomato so we're having chicken with that spread on it with home made wedges & veg - should be really yummy.
