    Well done Well done!

Re: jobs - if you don't ask you wont get! I bet you get an interview at the Competitors place.

Lists are the future. As is ticking things off the list. Great satisfaction.

Ah well thats the fortnightly humiliation over with, but it ruined a possible NSD with 50p on parking!!! also spent 85p on crumpets for OH, but quite frankly he can have whatever he wants right now!!

Got to go & register with one of the agencies I submitted CV to yesterday - I was quite willing to go today but no - next Thursday!!! hey ho

Letter from ex-employer today about mortgage payment....methinks they've made a mistake cos new payment is less than I was paying on staff rate of 0%!!!!! my budget wouldn't complain, but I've got my friend double checking it....& I'm going to do the same

time to trawl t'interweb for more maybes...ofh & have application for part time job (Debt advisor with CAB) to complete....that would be a good one!

I was almost doing cartwheels after the call!

first interview in almost 12 years, no idea how to prepare for it, cos its way outside the comfort zone, not Financial, the County Council!

I do know what I'm wearing though, am having eyebrows done cos they out of control & hoping to get hair cut too...all the important stuff...I am so shallow!:p

its almost 11 & I've done nothing today!!!
spent half hour on phone with outplacement chap, wanting interview tips
then another half hour with someone i used to work with who is about to join the redundancy club

now 20 past 11 & I went to get the post & have ANOTHER Interview next week!!!!! flippin flip flips!

Hair cut has been rearranged for Monday as peering through a fringe isn't going to impress anyone!

best get on, need to clear up a bit, got OHs kids over for weekend so they need access to beds (currently covered in job searching paperwork)

    must eat first though

    Happy Friday everyone

hmmm, have updated the pennies spreadsheet & it ain't looking pretty!

The plan was to move the months money across from redundancy account to coincide with normal payday (25th) BUT.....I have £40 left in budget & need food & petrol.
That probably would have done until next weekend, except we are 5 this weekend & the 3 are permanently hungry fussy eating teens & almost teen so its likely will need the £40 just for food. Oh big pants, big frilly bloomers!!!:mad::eek::eek::mad::mad:

Have wayyyyyy overspent this month anyway so may as well go out with a bang, tomorrows weekly shop will be the last of my month (runs 16-16) & then can make big effort to get August back to normal.

Hair has been cut in preparation for interview season (got another one NEXT tuesday, talk about buses!!)

need to do my nails today, try & wear in my shoes a bit - been wearing flip flops for weeks so its bound to feel weird, oh & try & prepare some questions

I've just had my first interview in 12 years, for a 6 month role @ local council.
It went ok, was able to answer their questions ok (I think) but one of the tests after was a bit...:eek: but we'll see.

Its good to have at least got to that stage because the interviews I have on Friday & Tuesday are probably the preferred options...so if nothing else it was good practice

I'm absolutely shattered though so may have to have a little nap before getting on with the housework list - how on earth will I get through a days @ work with no nap!?!!

well thats not a bad result....... first interview in 12 years & I'm in 2nd place - first choice has accepted the position, they are now talking to budget holder & personnel about taking on a second person...which would be me.....unless I get an alternative offer .

Feedback was reasonable - the felt I was probably (??!!!!) nervous which is why I talked a bit too much...i can appreciate that, less nerves next time now & I'll get to 1st place!
