Warning
Me and a number of colleagues have had an issue lately at Willen shops. You try to lock your car with the remote key and it wont lock. Now, whether this is thieves using a jamming device, or whether it's just a new payment system one of the local shops use I'm not sure. But please make sure your car is actually locked when you walk away from it. This has been happening since about Wednesday last week. This is my signature. Hi
I am organising a Macmillan Coffee Morning and Table top sale on Saturday October 9th in Wavendon Community Centre in Wavendon village. The event will be from 10am - 2.30pm and all are welcome. Any cake donations would also be appreciated.
Please spread the word and pop along for a "cuppa and a chat", I will post a reminder nearer the time. Please help me support this very worthwhile charity.
There is a 50p entrance fee.:)
However, I still have a couple of tables available for £5.00. SO is you have some free time and lots to sell please send me a message and I can let you know some more information.
All monies from the coffee morning and the £5 table costs will be going to Macmillan along with the 50p entrance fee. All monies you make will be your own. The cost of the hall hire, and tea and cofee etc has already been donated so I am hoping to be able to make a nice sized donation.
Any advice greatly appreciated
Many Thanks

I am looking for an adult horse owner within 8 or so miles of Bletchley who would like some help a couple of days a week on a regular basis with stable duties and other 'non riding' chores. I am a 50 year old Mum whose been around horses on and off most of my life, but now the children are old enough, I've got the free time to be able to do something for myself. I work Mon - Fri 09.00 - 15.30, so could do late afternoons or early mornings. Experience with stallions, youngstock, hunters and driving horses. Currently carrying too much weight to partake in riding, but interested in working with horses from the ground - free schooling and 'natural horsemanship' type tasks/challenges.
I prefer cobby types, but happy to handle any type of horse or pony. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -
I would be really greatful if some help from somebody from Wales.
We have the free tickets for the Renault weekend at Siverstone next weekend, and I have booked a couple of nights in a hotel a few miles from Milton Keynes with my Tesco Deals.
I love car boot sales, so hopefully I'd like to spend some of early Sunday morning having a rummage for a bargain.
I've Googled car boots in the area:
MK Bowl-if there is no concert-only can't see anything about concert timetables or car boots on the website??
Car boot opposite Dobbies Garden Centre-but is this Saturday only?
Just wondered if any one could help, idealy looking at Sunday 19th-and round here some have actually finished already for Winter.
Thank you. :beer::j0 -
According to this link it's definitely 'on' on September 19th. There's a phone number on that link for enquiries too. Think the bowl is a 6am start

There's also one on Sundays at the 'Super Sausage' which is just down the road from MK - a bit more civilised start time of 10am according to the info on this link but worth ringing the number to check as I'm not sure it's all year round despite saying it will be held on the 19th.

What dentists does everyone here use? Also, are there any other people here that are really nervous about the dentists? I desperately need to go as I'm in pain daily, but A: I don't have a dentists, and B: I'm absolutely bricking it

Hi - I use dentalworks at the train station, friendly staff and make you feel at ease. Plus I think they are still accepting NHS registrations! If you do a search on the net, they have a website.0
