I've been to several conferences there over the years. It's a very nice venue and the catering has always been good (as far as I can remember) but I've not had a formal evening meal there for a long time.

  • Can anyone advise of a good outdoor playground in MK?

I am visiting with my sons 10 and 8, have a trip to cinema planned and looking for seomthing free/cheap to do as well.

Did fancy crazy golf at Willen, but it is shutting from tomorrow as the school holidays are apparently over!
  • there are large parks on most estates now so you should be able to find one really easily, willen football ground has a nice park behind it and just over the hill is willen lake (the labaryinth) there is also a nice park next to the resturant at willen lake (cant remember its name lol it may be the lakeside or something similar) bletchley has a nice large park (fondly called the dinosaur park by locals due to the huge dinosaur in the middle) it was only completed a couple of months ago and is brilliant

If they like history there is the roman villa at bancroft

Bletchley park is another good day out with children of that age make sure you check out the spy shop!!!

On september 5th the author of the horrid henrey books is doing signings and readings at Waterstones in Midsummer place

MK museum is haveing an open weekend soon this one or next (look it up lol)

so lots to do hope you have a great visit!
