Hello peeps, great thread!
We're moving to MK next month, I'm looking for our local softplay centre - can anyone recommend one?
I've done some googling and found a few but they were so expensive - a fiver a session  - we're used to paying £2.50 down here in sunny Berkshire!!
Failing that - any recommendations that would be suitable for a 20 month old little boy to burn some of his excess energy :rotfl:

Anyone know of any temporary jobs suitable for my 17 year old lad who is about to leave school but doesn't start college until September. He's very fit, does body building and had a very good office based work experience with the Institute of Chartered Accountants but hasn't had a job yet. His plans are to do Sport Science.
He needs a job (otherwise we'll fall out) and is flexible. He's a techie and has good IT skills, 9 A-Cs at GCSE, etc. and he'd be good a lifting heavy things! Traditional retail summer jobs seem to have dried up this year so we're trying to think creatively.
Thanks for any ideas.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0 -

I have won a £100 Giftcard:MK card in a competition, but sadly I have now moved away from Milton Keynes. I received it this morning, and have checked with the thecentre:mk about it's usage and transferring.
I would like to sell it for approx £70 in cash or common vouchers (e.g. tesco etc).
The card is unsigned, and valid for 12 months (although after 6 months it depreciates by £2 per month).
It can be used in over 400 stores, cafes and restaurants in thecentre:mk, Xscape, Theatre, and Theatre district. You just use the card to pay (signature check made).
If you are interested in an exchange, please reply to the post or email me on rshome at ntlworld.com.
Regards,

My gf is looking for a gym to join. She wants one with a pool and all the usual gym stuff. She likes the look of virgin but its about £50 and we heard it can be quite busy. She doesn't want to pay that much to be stuck in a really busy gym where she won't be able to use the equipment.
Anyone got any suggestions of a good gym? Thanks very much everyone
